Pull For Her If You Want An All Around Unit With Team-Wide CRIT Buffs, Damage, and Early Game Tanking

Critical hits are some of the most damaging attacks in the game. Kaguya enhances the entire team's CRIT chance and damage by 20% for up to 4 turns, which is huge for high damage carries like Florence and Cordie. This skill alone warrants a spot for Kaguya in most team comps with carries who like to crit. Pull for Kaguya if this sounds useful to your team.

In addition to that, Kaguya is also a tanky retaliator in the early game thanks to her The Majestic Moon skill, which grants her a shield and the Counter Shift status. Kaguya will be a fine counter to opponents that strike multiple times in a turn, as she'll deal back magic damage while tanking the attacks with her shield. She also has a debuff that affects enemies that inflict debuffs on her. This skill lowers an opponent's DEF Break and ATK stat, which hinders their offensive capabilities.

Finally, Kaguya deals decent damage to multiple targets. When attacking debuffed opponents, her damage is further amplified. Having an AOE debuffer on Kaguya's team would definitely help amplify her damage output.

Like with most other witches, getting multiple copies and raising their rarity will unlock their true potential. Kaguya is no exception, as a lot of her abilities like her shield and counter attacks only shine when you've invested in her quite a lot.

Pull If Florence Is On Your Team

Florence works exceptionally well with Kaguya for the same reason Merlyn is extremely good with Florence. Kaguya enhances both Florence's CRIT chance and CRIT damage by 20%, which is a very welcome buff for Florence. Florence relies on landing crits to enable her to strike even more times in 1 turn. With both Kaguya and Merlyn's buff to help her get crits, Florence could potentially be a one-shot machine.

An emotionally hardened princess, Kaguya has survived many assassination attempts before. She's had close encounters with death multiple times, with numerous personal guards called "shadows" dying in service of the princess. Everything changes for Kaguya when she bonded with the kindest shadow that's ever entered her service. For her, Kaguya gave up everything.

If Your Main DPS Does Not Rely On CRITs

If you're not running a carry that relies on landing CRITs, you may be better off using other witches that offer utility better suited for your team. Awakening an SR Limited unit takes a big investment, especially Chaos/Radiance units like Kaguya, so not having her synergize well with your team would be a waste of Diamonds. Consider switching to Florence or Cordie as your main if you want to run Kaguya in your team.

If You Don't Have AOE Debuffers

Kaguya's damage is amplified whenever she attacks targets afflicted with debuffs. Kaguya can't do this herself, as her debuff is conditional. Having an AOE debuffer unlocks Kaguya's damage potential, and makes her an all-around support unit with potent offensive capabilities.
