it depends on what the person is asking for and what units they have as well as if they are playing for meta or not.
Honestly speaking I think yelan, raiden and kokomi/baizhu shine in their own way. A lot of people and content creators often recommend raiden over yelan for newer and low level players but meta wise yelan is a stronger unit. I think kokomi is too but tbh she is in the same teir as raiden.So in the end I really think it comes down to who your ranking the top 5 for. We can all agree that Kazuha/nahida/furina are both top options for meta and new and low AR but what about yelan, raiden and kokomi?
Ok it seems a lot of people different opinions on who should go in 4th and 5th place. Someone thinks it’s raiden, someone thinks it’s yelan and somone thinks it’s kokomi/baizhu. That just goes to show that the real top three are Kazuha, nahida and furina and the rest after that are all left to preference and interpretation so all this going back and fourth is really useless. Just shorten the top best characters to 3 instead of 5 and call it a day.
Would you really recommend a second hydro sub dps over let’s say a healer like kokomi/baizhu or zhongli? Constantly going for the same roles when other characters can give more benefit is not as amazing as you think, hydro or not.
rarely will you actually need that. Neuvillette and furina can still work very well in single target and the same for xingqiu and yelan in aoe. It’s better to get different units and elements than constantly going for the same ones.
you do know that’s not even close to accurate right? It’s user submitted, it doesn’t even have the data I’d half the player base.
furina neuvillette on aoe side. xq yelan on single target side. never go wrong with too many hydros.
here top dendro teams. where electro actually shines and be strong with low investment and where is raiden?
raiden's only good off-field role is hyperbloomdps, where kuki dominates her completely.dendro teams are better with dendro onfielders. her hyper is expensive. c2 raiden+c6 sara to be competant.
I’d put yelan with Neuvillette their are already a lot of hydros in both of you twos “top 5 must pull” (although tbh i think nahida and Kazuha are the only real must pulls since the rest can all be easily replaced) you don’t want people to go for the same element over and over again especially if their are characters of different element who can give just as much impact.
from someone who only ask about furi's team/build, to someone start to slander furi and triggered everyone (include me, because sometimes they slandered without logic and always use similar arguments LMAO), and still continued with sometimes brought her personality to argue (that literal out of the topic)... ok, that's very unhealthy debate. but yeah, why complaining gacha games fandoms, they always have toxic side LMAO
Although if you really need a second hydro for your other team like you say then furina and Neuvillette are already in the list so yelan might fall to 5.
you can also say the same thing about raiden not being able to go through sheilds. It’s the fact that fiscal and kuki are only good in those certain teams that they are not a better unit then raiden
raiden cab work just as well and like I said fit into anything you want which is why she is the best electro unit in game.
I don’t really agree especially especially since theirs 3 in number 3 but okay. Imho the must pulls are 1-Kazuha 2-nahida 3-furina 4-raiden/yelan 5-neuvillette “Everyone else” doesn’t really make any sense after that cause one, characters like Cyno and xiao don’t benefit your account as much as characters like kokomi and zhongli.

not just her. many other versatile characters got hated tbh.
thing is kuki is a 4* and is the most reliable hyperbloom dps right now. the best hyperbloom team has melee onfielder, alhaitham so kuki lacking range isnt really a problem. tighnari team is there if you need dendro/electro ranged team. kuki& fischl>>>raiden& miko hope this helps.
his current top 5 teams. he is mostly used with with squishy/easily interrupted characters.
