What you're missing is that this set is released as zhongli's go to artifact. Increases HP for more shield, shield str for even more shield, and party wide atk buff with his tower dealing dmg when he's off field As for spending the time to get the shield up, shields prevent you from getting knocked back. Especially useful when you're using non c6 ganyu. Remember, getting ragdolled is a dps loss
This set sucks. Shield characters are already underpowered and not useful and can't deal any damage, but the attack buff here doesn't do anything for my team. My ganyu without this buff can deal 19k damage on her second hit of her charged attack. With this buff, she can do 20k. Why spend the time to get the shield up when I can spend that time attacking for a better dps?? Am I missing something here?
I think they should add Hydro traveler to this list. They even unlock their own shield at c4. But it would still work if you just switch in another character with a shield and switch back, then... OPEN FIRE!!!
OK, maybe I have misunderstood it as there are also other characters which do not have a shield (like Albedo and Fischl). But am still wondering, for Xiangling mentioning the shield strength, as she does not have a shield.
You have an error under the recommended characters. You list Xiangling, but probably meant Xinyan.
Layla's support build takes advantage of the benefits that the Tenacity of the Millelith Artifact set can give to the party. Her Elemental Skill can enable the passive effect of the Artifact to have near-permanent up-time!

no, this only works for characters that can constantly deal damage over 3 seconds from their elemental Skill
What about Diona? Can she use it?
Does nothing for Fichel. For some reason damage from Oz doesn't count as e-skill damage, only the initial blast from summoning him with your e-skill. That makes virtually every other set in the game is better for her. Perfect for Zhongli though, since each pulse from a pillar counts as e-skill damage if it hits something.

Cmon! Why isn't Kuki here, she can trigger the 4 piece effect at 100% uptime. her EM build on this set is insane! But I'm still running electro cup. ;(
Only 2 piece works on Thoma. He cannot tigger th 4 piece effect, but yeah idk why he's not in the list atleast for the 2 piece, like Barbara who is the same camp.
Sounds pretty good for Thoma, dunno why he isnt on the list

Barbara's E does damage if you're basically touching the enemy when you activate it. The little circle of water damages enemies.
