who tf said he is bad for abyss? His damage is insane with good build
because he cant do one time 1m damage like eula burst? With the right build and right artifacts his overall burst damage can outperform many dps characters in the game

There is a typo in Talent Priority. It says “ Normal Attack talent should not be left for last.”. It should instead say “ Normal Attack talent should not be levelled or left for last.”

I cleared the first half on floor 12 with him. C0R1 with Nahida C0 sacfrag, Xingqui C6 and Fischl C6. Not the best artifacts on everyone. So I'd say he is pretty effective.

omg here come cyno simp. Correction gatcha character with 5 normal attack is the best. Sorry i know you suxk play tekken but why include street fighter lol. Keqing as a standard banner and old character bettered gameplay and efficient rather than new hype cyno. The point is he is underwhelming, lot of times and energy taken to build but not satisfying. People below already mention it but you simp got triggered by word boring haha
So you find Ganyu using only her CA not being boring? Cyno is a reaction driver with dps capabilities and a burst hypercarry of course his solo performance is lacking. If you find a gacha character with five normal attack boring then you'd better off just playing Tekken or Street Fighter.
He is character who spend lot of time and energy to upgrade but underwhelming. The kit so boring. The hype burst so called cool animation got boring later on, it just repetetive 5 hit again and again. This guy really worse like his jokes, terrible boring and useless.
I hyped Cyno and got him to C2. Its been months now and I have him on C2 9/9 with Glad set, White Tassel/Deatchmatch, Nahida with Wandering Evenstar and Fischl with Elegy. I am planning to get the Staff once it returns and farm the GD artifacts for him. By now, I find him kinda underwhelming. He is useless in the overworld tho, needs to burst to kill a single hillichurl camp and can't recharge in time to use again in another camp.
