Are the weapons logic similar to all FFs? So, there will be a special weapon for one character and you need to get that by gathering materials or doing side quest? How does it work in FF7? Or maybe they changed the weapon formula here?

Is the remake going to be pretty faithful to the original? Or are we getting a Rebuild of Evangelion? Where the plot is 1:1 until it takes a massive left turn. I'd guess if that were to happen it would be in the later parts. Then again, it might be too early to know until playing.
