Unpopular opinion but since they wanted to make a ff action game, why not make a spinoff about the adventures of gilgamesh while travelling in the dark dimension? This way, they can also prove wether or not, all ff dimensions are connected.

Storysummary. Some eco terrorista fight against a power plant company. They get fked up since the company is rich and finds out they make experiments with their employees. Mc and one experiment are clones of each other and they fight eachother inside a crater.

Its a 12 yr project. They started the remake long ago.the first sneak peek we got wasduring the ps3 era.

As a ling time ff7 fan. I am amazed by the gameplay of the remake. Also saw the screenshots of the iconic places like the train graveyard and the church. So excited for the game

7.also, all people biw have innate abilities aside from limitbreaks (as shown in the demo) so everyone is going to have unique roles in battle. No more mage cloud.

The original can conplete the midgar section in under 3 hours so expect several sidequests to compensate. We'll also probably not have much story to go on unless they put in flashbacks.
