That reminds me of that story about how Masahiro Sakurai (creator of Super Smash Bros) had an IV Drip while he was working on the game. I appreciate their hard work, but I hope these guys don't kill themselves over their games

1583 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

The story actually went that he'd isolate himself in his work room. He got hospitalized several times for his work in the game due to contracting ulcer. The man is dedicated and talented.

Oh my god, never knew that he did the music for some of my most favorite games! Sounds like I need to give those a replay

1581 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Mitsuda is much more known due to his work with Chrono Trigger. It's also a fact that Chrono Trigger became such a successful game due to his contribution.

1580 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

He also did some musical themes for the anime black butler.

1579 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Chrono cross and chrono trigger, xenosaga, he also made soundtracks for shadow hearts.

1578 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Oh, I'm really familiar with Uematsu but not so much with Mitsuda. What did he compose for? Would love to listen to his music too

1577 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

This I heavily support. Uematsu and Mitsuda are 2 gods I worship.

1576 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

So glad that Nobuo Uematsu returned to work on FF7R, I've been missing his music since FFX. No disrespect to the other composers, but Uematsu's on a whole other level

How aviut the Atelier series? Anyone played it and how is it? First heard it was kn the ps3 but there's a steam veraion too.

1574 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Hmm. Might as well try this one.

1573 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

HAHAHAHA good one, flex the belt. lol

1572 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Still don't get the obsession with open-world. I for one wouldn't mind having another semi-linear game for the later parts if it means we get a really polished game out of it

1571 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Make sure you do all the sidequests and get all the asterisks! I swear, it's all gonna be worth it

1570 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Didn't Nomura evolve from belts and into plaid? I dunno about you, but almost everyone in KH3 has plaid. Surprised he didn't carry over this trend to the remake

1569 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Will definitely do. There's an upcoming holiday here in my country so will prolly stay up to complete atleast one of them before the holidays end. Glad I have a stock of energy drinks here for no reason.

1568 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Character design 101. If the character isn't cool enough, add a shitton of belt. -Nomura.

1567 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

The Bravely series is god-tier imo. If you want something like the classic FFs, then you should go play these

1566 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Talking about RPG series, anyone here played the bravely series? Is it any good?

1565 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Happening in part 2 onwards. If they dont then, goodbye square. Atleast indie devs and atlus are stepping up their game in the rpg genre.

1564 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Thats where you're wrong kid.

1563 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

well i trust the devs to make an open world ff7 game interesting enough to justify it being open world, but anyway guess i'll have to wait for the later parts for an open world ff7

1562 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Ff7 remake What I expected: A much more fleshed out story and explanations to cover some plotholes from the original. What I got: Fan serviceeeeeeeeeee.

1561 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Truth. Open world is fine when there's enough content to go around but the linear style of gameplay is great when developers want you to go down specific paths

1560 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Yeah, I think open-world is a bit overrated anyway. What's the point of having a big open world if there aren't enough things in it to make it interesting

1559 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

as we near the game release, i couldn't care less what others (people who get the game earlier) say.. i just want to go ahead and play the game. i'll rate it myself.

1558 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I also like this couple to end up together and be the canon we all yearn for. Tifa and Cloud being childhood friends might be something they'll explore to develop the story.

1557 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Yes. Probably, not. The game taking place only at Midgar is evident enough, i think. I love open world and all but maybe, it will not happen for this one.

1556 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

truth.. so if i were you, unless you want tidbits of information, i would stay away from too much media exposure.

1555 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Agree, story is one of the best asset of the Final Fantasy game series.
