The best IVs for Gaius are +Spd and -HP. A higher Spd allows Gaius to perform follow-up attacks more often and prevent follow-up attacks against himself. HP is of less importance to him as he has rather balanced Def and Res stats, so it can be safely taken as a bane.

How to Use, Explanation

This is refined build for Gaius. With the refine and stacking Atk/Spd Solo, he boosts his stats to deal even more damage. Special Spiral 3 and Time's Pulse allows him to trigger his Special again and again every combat.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a budget build for Gaius with minimal Skill Inheritance. Swift Sparrow 2 gives him additional stats when he attacks, while Fury 3 ticks him down to within Desperation range.

Candied Dagger has a good special effect wherein Gaius will deal more damage when the enemy unit he is attacking is at full health. It also provides additional damage whenever his special skill activates on an enemy with 100% HP. We recommend refining Candied Dagger to make up for his low damage output.

High Speed

Gaius' base Spd is 36 at Lv. 40 5 stars, which is above average. This allows Gaius to make follow-up attacks on a pretty regular basis. Combined with his decent Atk, he can become a decent attacker when invested upon.

Rogue Dagger+ Debuffs Enemies

Rouge Dagger+ inflicts -5 Def/Res to enemies after combat. Since Gaius is a fast unit, it is likely that you can debuff enemies during the enemy phase during counterattacks as well. It is easy to apply this debuff, and your other units can take advantage of the increased damage as well.

Gaius has low defensive stats. At level 40, he has a Def stat of 22 and Res of 19. If Gaius is attacked, he can be taken out easily. Be mindful of Gaius' positioning in relation to enemies that can easily take him out. Use skills to reposition Gaius after he attacks.
