I think it's actually really good at giving information. Part of the draw of Zelda games is the puzzle solving. There are a ton more teaching shrines than in botw for example. In the end whether you're doing a tutorial shrine or not, try it to figure it out
How do you turn it OFF? Honestly this is worse than Navi. At least Navi was only annoying. This actually interferes in things like bug hunting or fairy captures etc where you're pressing A several times to try to grab it as soon as it gets close enough and before it flits away. Instead of a fairy you get a wind gust and no fairy
leave a settlement
For those asking, you use it by pressing "A" when the avatar spawns in. You'll have to leave a settlement area before the avatar shows up.
Yea this game is awful at giving the player information I've had to Google stuff like 20 times already
The ability only appears when you go out of a town area try to go into the wilderness and it will appear
I can’t find it either lmk if you figure it out
But like how the fucking hell do you use it? What's the fucking ass button?
