Finish Silent Galaxy
To unlock Trailblaze: Friendship Is Magic, you'll need to finish the Silent Galaxy mission. This is part of the Jarilo-VI Trailblaze Mission series, In the Sweltering Morning Sun.
Talk to Natasha in Boulder Town
Upon meeting the requirements, a mini quest called Old Friends, New Friends? will unlock. Look for Natasha in Boulder Town to see what's up. After a short conversation, you can start challenging the event stages!

How to Play Trailblaze: Friendship Is Magic
Challenge Stages with Fixed Characters
Multiple stages will become available in the Trailblaze: Friendship Is Magic event and you'll be required to use the designated trial characters. Once you beat the trial difficulty of a stage, you can challenge a tougher version next!
Check the Magician's Abilities
Each stage has a character assigned as the Magician who'll get new abilities to replace their regular Skill and Ultimate. They'll also be able to summon Minicans that have their own unique skills. Use these battle effects to your advantage!
Get More Power from Minicans
Some types of Minicans can summon more of its own units onto the field. With more Minicans, the Magician will get increased ATK and regenerate more Energy. It's even possible for Minicans to enter an Ultra Gold state with extra buffs!

Always a case of someone asking for advice then saying they got it...and not expanding on it. Recommend following the Day 4 guide. Bronya skill always on Jingliu (even though you'd think fueling Blade's talent would be the way to go). That way Jingliu can Ult more often and keep her enhanced state longer, and Blade's follow-up will still trigger often enough.
