before 3.0 = he's broken unit after 3.0, 4.0 = someone says overrated?? well no, but actually yes first, dendro makes new meta comps that doesn't need bennett. and in 4.0, some characters has hp scaling, that's make bennett unusable (they need dmg bonus more that atk buff)

bennett gives huge amount atk with his base kit while koko needs to use ttds weapon and tenacity artifact to give mid amount of atk 😂

After 3 years, this Statement hast not aged well at all
he is not overrated at all. one of his best 4 star weapon is craftable and his artifact set can be easily build, he only need c1 and a little investment then he can provide a healing which is as good as kokomi and 800 atk buff for almost infinite uptime, easily the most broken 4 star
Agreed. It may be even better than Fleuve Cendre. Sapwood has useless passive for most Bennett teams but with ER% sands and substats he doesn’t need even more ER. Sac is defo not 3rd best for Bennett with its low base attack. Should be replaced with Skyward Blade
He’s only better in late game.When u obtain the right weapons(smth at least as good as sapwood blade),have enough ER to reliably proc burst, most importantly have enough ER for his teammates(so they can i-frame burst while in Bennett’s field to get easy heals) he can very reliably keep team alive at endgame while he’s the only unit who can both heal + give universal dmg boost.Also, hes much better for dealing with larger enemies compared to a bunch of small ones,so even better for endgame
sapwood blade is WAY better than sacrificial blade, its not even recommended for him anymore
He still needs er & hp by artifacts. You have to fill that burst before your team die. You have to put all your characters to that circle, wait for healing one by one but max %70. He is great as soon as you have great builds. Yes, he's overrated.
his burst buff depends on his base attack not artifacts also let them overhype him then, he's a buffer and a healer, which are uncommon, but not rare
He is the most overrated character of the game. There are people call him 6 star character, probably they are accounts who has started the game in early versions and has best artifacts for him (he is their first healer), also who has other best build characters. He is lack of healer, his attack buff is not that significant amount if you don't have great artifacts. He can be easly replaced by other healers dependind on team. Yes, he is good support but he doesn't deserve the fame that he has

Sapwood, the passive of the weapon is indeed irrelevant but the base attack and the ER on the weapon is good, yes The Alley might have better base dmg but the EM is irrelevant if you focus on his burst build, more ER, more frequent your burst is even with Bennett the only pyro in the team
Does anyone know yet how Finale of the Deep compares to Sapwood Blade for Bennett? I haven't crafted either so I'm trying to decide which would be better for him. I have him mostly in Childe international comp, so he's not involved with dendro reactions. That makes me think maybe Finale of the Deep?
In the past the guide suggested Lion's Roar. Now it is not even mentioned. Is Lion's Roar still useful? I did not see level 90 stats mentioned here, but base ATK is 42 compared to 41 for both Sacrificial Sword and Favonius Sword. At Level 90 that would be 510 Base ATK (Lion's Roar) compared to 454 Base ATK (both Favonius Sword and Sacrificial Sword).

both, for the most part! his attack buff is based on his flat attack stat (which means that relics won't add to it) so you can focus getting relics with the stats hp/energy recharge and a sword with a high base attack stat (such as aquila favonia or alley flash) to make him a nice hybrid character
