Why Thoma isn't in recommended party is beyond me; the combo of his burst with Razor's does so much overload and the pyro shield all but negates the danger of getting overloaded, yourself :0 I love using those two together
Yes it's so hard to get the 40 affect...so I'm thinking to change to gladiator
why wasn't 4 pieces of pale flame bis for him? his elemental skill cd (press) was short enough to trigger the set effect all the time. 50%+18% phys damage was definitely better than gladiator's
It's most likely his BiS. WGS is easier to acquire, but, if you happen to have a SoBP, it's excellent on him.
The stat is Elemental Mastery and Razor is not generally used to trigger elemental reactions, especially considering that most people build him Physical instead of Electro. The fact that his ult ends when you swap him for another character doesn't help with this situation. Of course, you can play a character however you want, but, in general, he'd benefit more from ATK% or Phys DMG Bonus as a stat
No reason for heart of depth, gladiators gives a bigger increase to normal and charge with its four set and has a useable two set for Razer
Artifact sets here are bs, charge attack can’t be used during burst making bloodstained 4 piece much weaker. Pale flame gives a much higher dps increase than gladiators and it isn’t even close. Ideally you want two 2 sets being pale flame and bloodstained or a 4 set of pale flame.

Elemental burst*
My razor has berserker set which gives around 30-50% crit rate when below 75% hp. With c2's bonus 10% thats an easy 60% crit rate, then add in favonius great sword for fast elemental outburst
I main razor and Qiqi and they are a perfect pair bc razor is my ace and he takes lots of damage since his defense is ok and I can switch with qiqi and he can get healed and after full hp I can switch back
4 Pale Flame > 2 Bloodstained + 2 Pale Flame
Opinions on 2 Bloodstained Chivalry and 2 Pale Flame? Both are Physical DMG 25%, giving a total of 50% physical increase, whereas the 4 piece bonus on Gladiator only gives the bonus on normal attacks. Granted, that's all he does while ulting, but it does cut the attack on his charged. that 3% difference is probably negligible compared to the increased flexibility.
Why not Rainslasher as an alt sword for Razor?
Yeah, she also gives pretty consistent shielding in my opinion, 12s, if you have her at C2, she shields VERY consistently if you also give her some energy recharge, so retracing bolide could work. The only problem, her shields are pretty weak, I'd rank her the worse shielder.
No, he deals physical damage most of the time, additionally, his electro attacks from his burst scales from his normal attack damage, and his normal attack is... Physical
4 piece Heart of depth could also be good, since it gives 30% normal and charged attack damage for 12s when using elemental skill. Retracing bolide also works well if you have a consistent shielder.
uh u kinda labled the electro dps version as physical. also, i think the previous physical dmg build with 2 piece bloodstained and 2 piece glads should still be included here
I'm surprised how the new claymore from Dragonspine isn't even mentioned here. It provides physical dmg% and a passive that is pretty useful. And for the team comps, I can highly recommend Xinyan as a sub dps/support, since her talent gives characters who have her shield a decent physical dmg bonus as well.
I've been making my Razor comp. I'm using the Snow-Tombed Starsilver weapon for him. Sacrificing Atk% stat for bonus phy.dmg% And focusing on doing hybrid dmg end game. But I'm using the 2 set Chivalry because the extra 25% physical dmg bonus is good. The weapon works very well when you have a Cryo user alongside Razor to proc superconduct. Razor is one of my favourite Genshin Impact character alongside Qiqi.
