remember some of these characters use old units on their teams: Sucrose on Flins Teams (C6 Jahoda is just a little bit better), Nahida on Nefer Teams and Gorou/Zhongli on Zibai teams. They still have margin of improvement such as Skirk could have a better 4th slot than Shenhe, or Varesa could have a better Chevreuse.
You mentioned Skirk and Neuvillette btw. Columbina can fit as 4th slot for Skirk and has a really decent performance despite she's not Shenhe while Neuvillette's whole relevance goes around NK Characters, being wheelchaired to the Top 10 by Lauma and Ineffa. So you can't really say Xilonen/Citlali/Escoffier are more versatile (Escoffier isn't more versatile than Columbina btw) and Nod Krai characters would be left once the region ends because you can't be sure, also+
So... NK Teams have Columbina, an Hydro off-fielder who can hold TTDS whose damage is higher than Furina's. Lauma, the best Dendro character, also can also be a TTDS Holder and fit on teams where even Nahida wasn't viable as Kinich. And Ineffa, the strongest Electro Sub DPS (even stronger than Hexerei Fischl) that is also a Sustain that can work with Lyney/Arlecchino Overload Teams or Hyperbloom Teams. It's V6.3 and they already reached Mavuika's level and left Neuvillette far below.

Columbina is a BIS for Zibai, Nefer and Flins, all of them being ≈150K DPS which is more than any other damage dealers of the game excepting Mavuika. And they'll add more characters on Nod Krai, which means more teams where Columbina is a BIS or that one of these three could surpass Mavuika. She's also a stronger Hydro off-fielder than Furina (who has the problem of HP reduction) and can be a TTDS Holder. Saying she'll drop down to S after Nod Krai ends is wild.
Mavuika/Iansan/Bennett/Citlali is +160K DPS and the strongest team of the game
Your reading skills are crazy... I mentioned Skirk, Nefer, Varesa and Flins because they're second class DPS (weaker than Mavuika, stronger than Mualani/Neuvillette/Arlecchino), not because I'm playing them out of Freeze archetype lmao
I'm considering V6.2 calcs, with Dual DPS Overload with Varesa and CDCDCF Mavuika being on 124.000 and Varesa + Durin without V6.3 new artifact set. That's above of 115.000 but still below of Mavuika's Dual DPS. Now, with V6.3 new set, the variant with Durin gets to 126.000 DPS.
So, your statement is, Nahida can buff 250 EM (I'm ignoring her weapon, trust me, she loses even more on vertical investment) so the existence of better Supports doesn't mean she's buffing less. That's right, but wrong, since all of these Supports are being compared, so Nahida needs to be as good as other SS Supports to be on SS. But she's the less important piece on Nefer's team (being even weaker than C6 Jahoda) while she's no relevant teams without Lauma.
You're ignoring the fact that Lauma also drops Hydro and Dendro RES. Basiclly, both of them are Dendro Sub DPS/Supports that work in every single Dendro Team (even Kinich, despite they're not the best option), but what about out of the Dendro Teams? If Nahida's EM Buff is good on Mualani Burnvape, Lauma's RES Drop is also but she doesn't have a recast problem. She's also better than Nahida for Kinich. While Nahida isn't a BIS in any single team with EM Req. since Sucrose is better.
Mavuika + Iansan/Citlali is +160K, then there's some variants with Escoffier or Sucrose instead of Iansan but that's still Melt. Mavuika's second best team is Overload with CDCDCF combo (138K DPS). Mavuika Vape with Furina was 115K with old combo, but no one has calced it with the update. Anyways, most of the his of CDCDCF combo are non-reaction, and Overload comp benefits more these hits than the team with Furina, so I don't think it's getting more than Overload.

No, I’m not talking about Nahida as a sub-DPS. Also, nowadays people are focusing more on Stygian than the Abyss, so the wave mechanics are useless. What I’m asking about is Nahida as a "Support" who provides 250 EM and an additional 40 EM through her weapon. As you can see, Lauma gives buffs to reactions, not EM, so why did Nahida’s SS support ranking suddenly drop to S?

Guys I have chasca(c2), furina, citlai, skirk, Escoffier, venti and durin(c1) (only the 5 stars that I own) who should I pull for? I am planning to go for ineffa and then varka
your "substantial knowledge" Is common knowledge skirk needs to be played in a pure hydro and cryo team and you want to play her with varesa neffer and flins do you live under a rock? I don't want to sound offensive so no hard feelings there is already a lot of toxicity in the community, spread love
...If you want to run Columbina or an NK driver, you're fairly forced to commit to "the" respective NK team for them lest you sacrifice tons of damage. And what is given in return for that commitment is... limited. You can do tons of damage and bypass Lunar checks, but both are vulnerable to gimmick-and-power-creep. Electro-Charged and Crystalized are fairly limited reactions beyond their tailored bosses, and furthering their restrictions to Hydro/NK isn't doing any favors.
A counter argument there is that Mavuika and Skirk's demanded characters are also quite flexible. Citlali, Xilonen, and Escoffier can be slotted into many alternate teams and bypass shilling better than niche characters. Neuvillette and Furina have both lasted so long despite being joined at the hip because of their compatibility with nearly everyone. The thing with Columbina and NK drivers is that Lunar Reactions, from what is understood, starts and stops with them...
