she got nerfed already💀 a day after they return the spin2win neuvillette, they nerfed her % dmg, the leakers said it was small but who knows they would prolly pull a jiaoqiu if they want to

I understand where people are coming from too, but sadly nothing isn’t going to change. Yeah yall can boycott but it’s still not going to changes anything. After seeing what happened with Sumeru i just knew that its will be the same for natlan.

And this comment right here, yes it’s may be fictional but putting culture and religion will make a lot player upset. Which i don’t think they put should inspiration of real life into their game. (which again they do not care) People got told to wait for Natlan for more tan/dark people, so they waited. As a poc i do wish it’s was more diversity into the game but truly i know it’s not going to happen. I don’t hate genshin , I love everything about it but just lack of diversity.

Honestly they not going to change nothing. They do not care. Even the CN players are rioting about it. They quickly fix nuvi spin but not going to fix the skin color. For the women in a poc hair that is showing they still do not care. Even as much they talked about the sign thing, it’s still not changing. They are in sure about to lose a lot of player / money because of it. I wouldn’t tell people to wait, they are hurting. It’s same with what happened with sumeru.

That's fair. Even if I don't agree with the points that this would result in a better or more interesting game just because of different skin color. But I can understand wanting more different looking characters in general. In the end, everyone can only speculate for Hoyo's reasoning behind their character designs. I just wish everyone would be more civil about all of this. Many people are taking this way too far and serious, throwing words around until they lose all meaning.

I don't believe Hoyo is casting light skinned characters out of malice, they're doing it because a marketing dept told them what it believes will play it safe and lead to bigger sales. And while yes,Teyvat is a fictional world and that should lend a freedom to its developers. The are many in the playerbase, myself included, who find the 'safe' option both boring and now taking us out of the experience. I want Hoyo to make a better more intresting game, not a better money printer.

At first I didn’t care back then when it’s came to sumeru because i thought its was fictional myself, but when getting educated and using google to research.. I learned a lot. People already waited.. they got told that multiple time when it’s came to sumeru to wait for natlan. They aren’t incorrect. Val (sucrose va) literally educated people when it’s came to o Olorun. I understand where they coming from. Also …. i saw a leak of one of the npc she have pale and have braids.

I am not saying I would dislike having some dark skinned characters in genshin. I just find the reasoning of most people incorrect. Many people instantly jump to racism and whitewashing, even though I believe that is not the case here. I just think Hoyoverse has the right to do with their fictional world whatever they want, even if they take some inspiration from the real world. And who is to say there won't be any dark skinned characters later? People should just relax and wait.

    >>[12277Xiangling and Kuki have similar use % in Abyss. But work in different roles in separate teams. Xiangling has less competition in her role, than Kuki is as a healer. Also, any character with a usage of over 20% really should be SS, so while Kuki could be moved up, Xian is fine as is. I get why game8 doesn't want heat for Hoyo's issue, but it's a valid discussion on a game that the site profits off wiki-ing. + this is a billion dollar multinational company, we can ask for better.

    there no way...

    12284 Anonymous4 monthsReport

    Chat is this real?

    12283 Anonymous4 monthsReport

Um what 😃? Are you joking…

    12282 Anonymous4 monthsReport

oops that was meant fit 12276

    12281 Anonymous4 monthsReport

    ?

    12280 Anonymous4 monthsReport

If it’s soooo fictional! Why used their other people culture? Why white wash? Why dark/tan characters bad in game? Why used actually GOD names for culture? Why they do their best when it’s came their own culture (liyue, yunjin, latin rite). Imma stop you right there. You literally sound soo wrong right now. Nobody saying they hating the game, we just want rep if they going to use other cultures.

    12279 Anonymous4 monthsReport

FOR THEIR OWN CULTURE? Like what… Using people culture and not giving their rep is WRONG!! When it’s come YunJin they gave it their all for her! but when come to sumeru and natlan? WHERE. pls don’t piss me off.

    12278 Anonymous4 monthsReport

    And how is it irrelevant?

    12277 Anonymous4 monthsReport

Just a small change to the tier list but I think either Xiangling should be moved down to S rank or Kuki Shinobu should be moved up to SS rank. Compared to Bennett and Xingqiu (which are the consistently the two most-used 4-star characters in Spiral Abyss with an average of 40% usage rate), Xiangling and Kuki consistently rank 3rd or 4th and both are around 25% and sometimes Kuki is higher than Xiangling, so I think it's more accurate to put both Kuki and Xiangling in the same tier.

    12276 Anonymous4 monthsReport

It's not spreading awareness because what you claim hoyo is doing is just in your mind. Teyvat is a fictional world. A fictional world doesn't have to be the same as the real one, even if hoyo is taking inspiration. So the link is irrelevant because there is not really a problem to begin with. If you don't like Natlan, just don't play the game. Cultural appropriation is also wrong, hoyo often represents the cultures they use correctly

    12275 Anonymous4 monthsReport

Please use better wording. Saying the signing is irrelevant isn’t okay. That link is very likely spread and help for hoyo to stop cultural appropriation. If they deleted because it’s not “apart” what be saying in this discussion board or related to genshin then they should deleted a lot these comments that’s in here. The link isn’t harming anyone. It’s spreading awareness.
