Oh cool thanks. This will be useful in bursting enemies

Remember that the ATB gauge fills faster while damaging staggered enemies. It will be worthwhile to spend lots of atb to stagger enemies quickly then build it up again while attacking the enemies. Although saving it up to burst them down while they're staggered is also good.

The ATB is pretty simple to use. Just git gud guys. GIT GUD.

I like this ATB feature tbh. Probably, because i like the challenging part of blocking while waiting for the ATB Gauge to fill. And, after doing so, I can wreck the enemy hard core.. brilliant

    17 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Agreed. It makes it way more intense and really makes you have to think on your feet constantly.

    16 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

So, that's how you can fill it up fast. Always wondering what to do

    15 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

The questionable part made me laugh lmao. Guess they really wanted the game which is a jrpg, become a full blown action game.

    14 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Imagine in the original, cloud uses a potion while his turn ain't up yet. Yeah that's what youre trying to say and IMO, that just sounds... questionable.

Finally, someone who gets how the system works. There are also times when you might want to just hold on to your ATB so you can launch double commands for burst damage.

    12 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

I personally like how it's implemented. Having to micromanage these things in-combat really gets me going :D

    11 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Yes, that's exactly what I do. Keep it filled and use a bar so it's not rotting away wasted. Just don't spend it like a madman and you'll get yourself bound one way or another lol

    10 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

True, but not using them can also waste it as a resource. It's like money. If you hoard a bunch and never use it. Does it even have any value? Using at least one after filling up to the max would be optimal in my opinion.

    9 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

IMO, it's always best to fill the gauge. I've never found a situation wherein one or two bars is dangerous enough. Just need some patience to make it work.

    8 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Likewise. You might need it when you get bound.

    7 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Thought I was the only one getting all confuse with several things happening at the same time, at least that's what has been going on looking at my screen when i play

    6 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

is there more ATB built up when you attack instead of defending? or are they all the same i think i want to play defensively

    5 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

The idea seems simple. Merging the ATB mechanics to an action game but the way they did it is too genius! specially liked the time freeze while choosing commands. Made the game fast paced and tactical at the same time.

    4 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

It shines brightly so I think that's enough?

    3 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

Maybe if they changed up the UI a bit and make it less of a hassle to look at the bar and everything else

    2 Anonymousabout 4 yearsReport

It's really frustrating right? I wanna just use items anytime without having to watch the gauge lol I understand for spells and abilities but gotta use those items brah
