A good example just right here below. What if the tank didnt fuck up on cid's missile launch? Cid would be happy then what? The end?
flirting is okay, but "focusing on the flirting part" is a no thank you imo.
This pretty much sums it up. There are a lot of them on the net. Stories like tidus disnt disappear or something. Nice to read for a few lulz and aww moments but definitely not spending 20 bucks for those kind of games.

loooool what you're basically looking for is fanfiction, which is fine don't get me wrong, but I don't think people are actually looking for full games based on them
Imagine ffx what if but seymour aint bad. That's just plain horrible.
These stories are masterpieces to the point you woudnlt really want anything else from them. The tought of a what ìf is ridiculous in that sense.
Im pretty sure theyre saying that as a joke. No one's excited for a ff what if game.
Someone in the forums mentioned that FF7 Remake should've been called FF7 What If? and I feel like they could've avoided so much hate if they did that instead. Plus that would open up opportunities to other FF What If games so I really wish they did that
And to those saying the story changes could be nice then hell no. These are the kind of scenes square can remove from the game in exhange of a what if storytelling. And from what they showed like focusing on flirting scenes with jessie, then im already fearing for the worst.
How he handled the situation during the rocket launch is like a pro. You can clearly feel how much he wanted his dream to come true but his assistant is much more important than a shitty dream.
He dreamt of exploring space. Like us kids who grew up together with ff7. And now that we grew up, we're feeling the same emotion of the mad guy that couldnt get his dream to come true in exchange for much more important things.
