I wanted to argue with you, but I read everything, and I still don't agree with you, but I'm too tired to argue, so we're back to where we started.
I didn't already did it, but I only uses knife as weapon. I know how to good writing my job is writing.
What would you think of a pure horror game? Take the survival aspect out of it. Just a game with the sole purpose of making sure you never feel calm or safe ever again.
I agree that 5 & 6 are trash, but I also think remakes should stop here and now. 4 doesn't need a remake and neither does anything else. They should aim to create original content. Also, I think 7 was an improvement from 5 & 6, though nothing has anything over the original RE1 & 2.
My eyes aren't as well-trained as yours. I don't pay attention engines like that. But I asked because I thought maybe the "foundation" of what made the original good got lost in the process of translating the development of the remake. Maybe that's why the remake feels like it's missing something.

Capcom always butcher's their character's faces. I'm pretty sure thats Chris. It happens a lot in their games and it would make much more sense if that were Chris

don't forget that the soldier who saved the main character was Chris Redfield. RE7 is not loosely connected. its very much connected to the other games
Yes I think they were trying to build a new story with RE7. There's a new Blue Umbrella corporation that we don't know about yet.

It seems like re3 remake players have lower iq than the average gamers. Even saw some people commenting on the front page of the discussion boards.

Does anyone already did a 100% perfect dodge gameplay and only uses a knife as a weapon? I will give that man my respect if someone already did that
says who? says you? afaik RE7 was received well. Its a pretty good game regardless of pace, genre or if its FPS or TPS stfu and enjoy the games
because RE should be survival-horror and not survival-action/horror action games. RE3 is the last RE game

RE4 should be the last remake they bother doing. re5 and re6 aren't RE games those were trash RE7 too that aint an RE game
RE2 Remake I mean. I think they're running on roughly the same engine. you can tell through eye test
they used many of the assets from RE2. its impossible to reuse the assets from decades ago.

Does anyone know if they developed this game from scratch, or if they somehow used the original as the foundation and just made advanced tweaks to it? I don't mean remaster. I mean, did they work hard to start from scratch?
