How to Unlock Detective Rewind

Unlocked Upon Reaching Chapter 2 Interlude Intermission

Detective Rewind can be unlocked upon reaching Chapter 2 Interlude Intermission. Progress through the main story and reach the prerequisite chapter to unlock this commission.

Go to Lumina Square and Talk to the Strange Person

Go to Lumina Square during Chapter 2 Interlude Intermission and go to Lumina Square.

Find the Strange Person near New Eridu Public Security and he will reveal himself as Rost. Check the Inter-Knot for the commission.

1. Go to Lumina Square and Talk to the Strange Person
2. Complete the Commission Using the HDD

Go to Lumina Square and Talk to the Strange Person

Find the Strange Person near New Eridu Public Security in Lumina Square and talk to him. He will reveal himself as Rost and he will give the commission through Inter-Knot.

Complete the Commission Using the HDD

Go back to Random Play and access the commission through the HDD System.

Step-By-Step Guide

1. Solve the First Puzzle
2. Solve the Second Puzzle
3. Solve the Third Puzzle
4. Exit the Video and Leave the Hollow

Solve the First Puzzle

This commission will involve you fixing the valve directions. Go proceed forward to reveal the first puzzle. Here are the following steps to solve the first puzzle:

• Push the lower left to the right once
• Push upper left to the bottom once
• Push lower left again to the right once
• Push lower right upwards once
• Push lower left again to the right once

Solve the Second Puzzle

Continue onwards after solving the first puzzle. Watch the recording play out and then solve the second puzzle. Here are the following steps to solve the second puzzle:

• Push upper left to the bottom once
• Push middle left to the bottom once
• Push upper left to the left twice
• Push upper right to the bottom once
• Push upper right to left twice

Solve the Third Puzzle

Watch the recording play out after the second puzzle and then it's time to solve the third one. Here are the steps to solving the third puzzle.

• Push lower left to the top once
• Push middle right to the left once
• Push lower right to the top once

Exit the Video and Leave the Hollow

After solving all the puzzles, exit the video and the next portion of the map will be revealed. Get all the observation data on the way and exit the hollow to complete the commission.
