Master Duel Ranked Update (Feb 2, 2022)

No More Demotions in Platinum 1

After reaching “Platinum Tier 1” (the highest Rank), players will not be demoted during the season.

In an update statement from Master Duel just after the first rank reset, demotion from Platinum 1 will no longer be possible. This has its own pros and cons as Players will be able to keep their peak rank to show their mastery of the game but it can prevent players from getting more gems which will be explained in our rank guide below.

Guide coming soon! Please stay tuned.

Ranked Skip Removed

In order to balance Ranked Duels, players will no longer skip ranks when they win duels in a row.

In the same news, rank skipping will also be removed. This will not make climbing ranks more difficult, but it makes controlling your rank easier.

Rank Reset Applied

Platinum Gold 5
Gold Silver 5
Silver Bronze 1
Bronze Rookie
Rookie 1 Rookie 2

After the new ranked season, all players will have their ranks lowered according to the table shown above. This ensues a competitive climb to higher ranks once again and will allow players to get rewards again per rank up!
