Basarios Location and How to Get

Find in Dovan Volcano

You can find Basarios and their egg nests in Dovan Volcano. With a Qurupeco's Monster Call, you can lure them out and possibly make them retreat!

Make Basarios Retreat

To get guaranteed Basarios eggs, you can make them retreat by following the conditions above conditions. Afterwards, follow them to their den and gather an egg from their nest while Basarios is sleeping!

Optionally, you can get the Den Protector skill to further increase the chances of Basarios retreating. You can get this skill early with the Pink Rathian's armor, Rath Heart Armor!
