Wardens are found roaming Deep Dark biomes. They can also be summoned by activating Sculk Shriekers.
How to Get and Mine a Sculk Shrieker
Warden is summoned by a Sculk Shrieker.
Sculk Shriekers are activated by stepping on them or by triggering a Sculk Sensor. You will know that the Sculk Shrieker has been activated once it emits blue rings of light and makes a shrieking sound. You'll need to activate it three times before it can summon a Warden.
Should the lighting conditions be correct, as Wardens only spawn in the darker areas of Deep Dark biomes, one will spawn and lurk around the area, attacking any target if it senses their vibrations. Unless they're already nearby, Wardens will usually burst out from the ground when summoned.

Given that the Warden has 500 health and is a hard-hitter, it is highly recommended to equip the strongest equipment possible.
Consider crafting Netherite equipment and take it a step further by strengthening it with Enchantments. Maxed out Protection and Sharpness Enchantments are ideal in order to take less damage while dealing stronger attacks respectively.
Having Protection Enchantments on your Netherite armor will cut down the Warden's melee attacks.
However, be forewarned that the Warden's ranged Sonic Boom attack bypasses damage reduction Enchantments like Protection.
You can lessen the chances of Warden unleashing a Sonic Boom attack by not going too far from it.

Player view without using a Potion of Night Vision.
When activating Sculk Shriekers, players will be inflicted with Darkness, which dims their vision every few seconds. This will make Wardens difficult to spot when they spawn, especially since they lurk in the darker areas of Deep Dark biomes.

It is recommended to bring Potions of Night Vision to clearly see your surroundings and to prevent unexpected attacks from the powerful Wardens.
Since Wardens greatly rely on their sense of sound, you can use projectiles such as Eggs or Snowballs to distract it. This gives you time and space to reposition or even escape if you think the fight's not in your favor.
Given that the Warden can easily deplete your health to zero in a matter of three to four strikes (even with the best equipment), it is highly recommended to always be facing its back to prevent it from attacking you.
You can circle around the Warden to make sure you're always facing its back and strike it repeatedly to whittle down its health.
Do note that even with the strongest of weapons, taking down the Warden can still take time, so as long as you remain unscathed and you're dealing damage bit by bit, you're bound to eliminate it eventually!
Wardens are incredibly aggressive and will kill anything that comes its way.
They are difficult to pin down as Wardens have the tendency to be moving around at all times, looking for a new mob to take down.

It's worth noting that Wardens are blind and are reliant on the sounds and smell of its surroundings to detect nearby prey.
Should it smell a mob or hear any footsteps or sounds of a player or mob nearby, it will not hesitate to go after it and attack relentlessly.
