If you like seeing your enemies flying the pair her up with Raiden. Swapping her for the skill then back to Yanfei is so much fun since nobody can contest you. This is even better with C4 so Yanfei doesn't get interrupted as often.

I put the 4 piece Retracing Bolide on her since when you're shielded you gain a big boost to Normal and Charged Attacks. Since ei usually have Zhongli on my team I don't even have to activate Yanfei's burst all the time to actually get a shield and it works pretty well. I feel like there aren't a lot of people who can actually properly use that set and I think it's kinda sad

4p Wanderers is a fantastic set for a charged attack dps. The extra em from the 2 piece set gives more damage when doing Vap/Melt/SuperCon, so I highly recommend it

Aim atleast 30k+ HP with 2pcs Millelith + 2pcs Emblem. Also, you will need ER about 150~200%. Substats ER% > HP%

unless u rlly like healing i would put thrilling tales on kokomi or barbara. also i would prefer Widsith way more than oathsworn eye for yanfei

At the moment I plan on giving Yanfei my Oathsworn Eye, Kokomi has Prototype Amber (same as Barbara) and I plan on giving Hakushin Ring to Yae Miko. Should I rethink the weapon distribution? I am at WL 5 (did not finish the player Quest on purpose to stick at AR45) and my main group is Zhongli, Xinqciu, Keqing and Ayaka. Zhongli stays in due to the shield, but the others get swapped out depending on the situation (Ganyu and Hu Tao). I do Quests and Story only, no Abyss nor Co-Op.
