How to Recruit Jade: Best Class and GiftsComment

Martial Master Jade is THICC. Across Arms Shield++, Resolve+, Gentility+, and Shielding Arts, Jade can get a whopping 24 damage reduction against Knives and Bows. Only 19 against Tomes, but that doesn't matter cause Martial Masters have high resistance. If you throw the Leif emblem ring on her for Adaptable, that 19 damage reduction can apply to axes, swords, and lances as well. Jade's personal skill is called Meditation, need I say more? That's a potential 53 armor/58 res.

Why is Hector not a recommend emblem. Jade is easily my best tank unit by far with Hector. I'm shocked she isn't rated A or S.

I would like to add that Emblem Tiki works well with Jade. Her personal skill requires her to use 'wait' to trigger, and Tiki's Lifesphere++ allows her to recover 40HP heals status effects. HP/Lck +10 is also a good skill to have to decrease her chance of being crit by enemies. I paired Vantage++ from Emblem Leif to make sure she can counter on enemy's phase while recovering her HP in player's phase.

I shocked she's ranked so low, especially lower than Louis. She's the better tank He's got a -2 Spd max stat modifier and a -2 Res as well but she doesn't. Even though it's only two on each it makes a big difference. Also with her personal skill Meditation she effectively has four more Res than Louis. I leveled both to max as Great Knights and she's so much better than him. Pair her with Hector for his Quick Riposte so she doubles and kills every enemy during enemy phase without worry of mages.

This article is misleading, Jade is not recruitable if she is defeated. No where does it state that and I trusted the info even though I should have known better. I've played other FE games and if the optional character gets defeated you miss out, just thought maybe they had finally changed that, but that is not the case. I accidentally saved after the battle and my only other save is 5 hours before... Lesson learned.

She can meet every tank rol: STR Tank as General STR/Mag Tank as Great Knight, causes Break easily STR/Mag Tank and healer as Royal knight Offensive STR Tank as Wyvern Knight I would say the last 2 are the better, using Healing Wish and Resolve+ as R or the typical offense/defense skills for Wyvern Knight
