| 1 |  Head back down and follow the objective marker on your map to find Dan standing next to the entrance. Follow him to Pondry Hills and he will teach you the basics of combat. |
| 2 |  Learn the Basics of Combat Go deeper into Pondry Hills and you will find Dan standing next to an Aptonoth. Fight the Aptonoth along with a few Velociprey to proceed to the next objective. |
| 3 |  Head for the Mt. Pondry Caves Dan will take you near the cave entrance after you finish the combat tutorials. Go inside of the cave to continue on. |

| 1 |  Head towards the back of the cave to access the Room of Trials and have your Kinship Stone purified. |
| 2 |  Approach the Waterfall Going close to the waterfall will trigger a cutscene where you will have your Kinship Stone purified. After that, you will get ambushed by a Nargacuga. |
Use a series of Technical attacks on the Nargacuga until you get the opportunity to ride your Monstie. Keep on using the same attacks from there and you will get the chance to use a Kinship Skill to help you with defeating the boss. Finishing the quest skips a day and will give you access to the Merchant and Smithy NPCs.
