Flying Pokemon is a common occurence in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here's a tip to better catch these Pokemon if they're up in the air.
It can get a bit annoying when your Pokemon is out of range, especially the ones up in the air.
Successfully catch a flying Pokemon by using the Lock On feature with the ZL button. Hold the button to make it automatically focus on the Pokemon.
Press the ZR button to throw the Pokeball at them.
Once you hit them, you'll engage the flying Pokemon in a battle.
When Pokemons fly or float in the air, we call them Flying Pokemon. Examples of this are the Hoppip and the Fletchling found early in-game.
They can be difficult to fight in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, so do read our method above to catch them!
Some flying Pokemon are found in fixed locations in Paldea. Going to one of these locations and using this method can net you a rare and powerful Pokemon!
