Beni is in charge of the Wallflower, the village's canteen. He will be the one to serve you some Potato Mochi to celebrate the success of your missions.
Though the Wallflower doesn't have any in-game function, many scenes during the story will be held at this canteen—mostly when celebrating the quelling of the Frenzied Nobles—and Beni will serve you the goods.
Right before you reach Kamado during the mission Atop Mount Coronet, Beni will stop you from proceeding further. He will use a smoke bomb to change to a ninja outfit and challenge you to a Pokemon battle.
