The remake will cut out certain parts of the game like the clocktower and park and they lengthen the indoor gameplay like the hospital and underground lab. I don't know if its true but there are a lot of people saying it became short.

Just saw a review. The game is pretty short. Shorter than RE2 remake but has a higher price. Like the singleplayer is not worth 60 usd by itself. So if the multiplayer isn't worth it, i'd just wait for a sale.
