I guess it's not so scary until he starts stomping on you, screaming 'Stars' while doing it. Or he managed to catch you and bash your head into the ground.
If your hands are dissolving, then maybe your skin wasn't as thick as you thought it was, after all.
I wish it were that easy to satisfyingly get rid of viruses. I'm so tired of washing my hands for 20 seconds. They're starting to dissolve.
Then maybe you should train yourself to develop thicker skin. What's happening now is difficult. Aiming a gun and pulling a trigger is simple.
I don't know. We all have different tolerance levels and ways of coping with stress and trauma. This game in the real world might be easy to you, but it would kill me.
If this game was reality, we would have a much easier time than what we're experiencing now.
Sorry to break it to you, but the high you get from this game isn't going to make you any better-prepared for the next REAL virus than you were this time around.
Maybe choose a better game to escape from current events. Wouldn't that make more sense? Or does shooting and stabbing zombies make you feel like you have some kind of power over viruses?
Blah blah blah. Can you please stop. I'm just trying to play a game. Can you not be such a buzzkill?
Yeah, and to relate RE3 to what's happening in the world right now isn't such a stretch. Plenty of stories have used our history with viruses for their fictional foundations. It's like asking which came first, the virus or the story about the virus? In this case, the clear answer is the virus and we'll continue to tell stories about them, because they're gonna keep coming.
Though I think 'instructional' goes overboard, I think that these writers are looking for meaning in entertainment to help them cope with the real world. They have the right to do so, as long as they clearly present their thoughts as opinions and not as facts.
That's about the only thing that draws me in. Any kind of game that has some kind of puzzle element to it is worth playing (though not necessarily worth paying for).
