They just wanted to focus on one storyline. That's what they said. Maybe the majority of the players want that to right?

    NEMESIS CAN JUMP

I think it would've taken the game much longer. And they're pobably going for an experience better than the 2 seperate routes combined.

    18 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I second that. It gave the game a kind of 'end on your terms' where you decided how it ended to a certain extent.

The original where you can can choose a option on which route that you are going to take. Wish they did not remove it.

Difference between the remake and original. In the original, there are less pixels while in the remake there's more. Also more starssss

I think they're going to balance it by adding more zombies than the original. Like way more. It's pretty useful but even with a perfect dodge, you won't get away from everyone else trying to grab you.

It was pretty cool that the original had that some parts of the ending changed depending on your choices. But its not going to be a big of a loss getting rid of it. Maybe this ending is better than both of them combined.

This is going to be a good experience indeed. I love to see what's happening around me, and love to know where the enemy is. All the better to avoid, I suppose.

Ah, the dodge mechanic. Kinda makes you feel like you having a fighting chance until they gang up or Nemesis grabs you.

    11 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Well well well. That's how Jill looks like in my dreams. Kidding aside, I hope the final game doesn't disappoint graphics wise.

Nope, the dodge mechanic is for kids to make this game a lot easier to complete. The original is easy to finish without the dodge mechanic with the addition of dodge this game is going to be finished without a sweat for me

Even with the addition of dodging, i don't think it will take away the rest of the skills needed to be good at the game. It just adds a new way of playing it.

    8 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

The dodging they added is a scrub mechanic. Used by kids who have to rely on reflex than resource management and skill.

    7 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

i really like the dodge mechanic changes they made for the remake.

    6 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

What are you talking about dude. The new dodge mechanic adds a new layer to the combat. You say it takes away tension, but getting really close and dodging is a thrill. Its a great shot of adrenaline if you ask me.

    5 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I'm not sure how I feel about the new dodge move. It's pretty OP and mastering it will make the game feel way less of a challenge. It takes away the tension of the moment.

It could be the nostalgia talking. Maybe you have a point with the over the shoulder camera. But they already did it with REmake2. I wanted to see a remake but with fixed camera angles.

    3 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

Sorry mate. I think that's your nostalgia talking. Capcom did make a mistake with RE's direction after RE4, but i think the over the shoulder can work really well for this series. They did a good job with RE: Revelations, showing that they can still make a scary RE game even with the over the shoulder camera.

    2 Anonymousover 4 yearsReport

I disagree. I think the RE series went downhill after they introduced the over the shoulder camera. They didn't to fix what wasn't broken. The fixed camera angles gave RE the tension it had and great moments I could never forget.
