Spring Ashe Best IVs

Recommended IVs

Stat Superboon/Superbane IV Recommendation
HP (18) HP Superbane ★★★☆☆
Atk (13) Attack Boon ★★★★☆
Spd (11) No Spd IV ★★★★★
Def (4) No Def IV ★★★☆☆
Res (4) Res Bane ★★☆☆☆

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws

See the IV Checker for All Units Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd / -Res

The best IVs for Spring Ashe are +Spd and -Res. His Spd is one of the highest in the game at base 46, and without an exclusive weapon, is incredibly important for Ashe to create follow-up attack opportunities and protect himself against follow-up attacks.

His Res is abysmal and can safely be taken as a bane as it will not affect any of his matchups.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Spring Ashe to +10 for similar reasons above.

How to Use, Explanation

Spring Ashe's base kit functions as an offensive dagger unit. Due to ranged fliers lacking B slot options, we recommend a mobility skill such as Aerobatics or Flier Formation.

Spring Ashe Strengths

Bunny's Egg+ grants Atk/Spd bonuses and damage reduction on first attack

Spring Ashe Attack Fire Emblem Heroes FEH

In addition to the usual post-combat dagger effect, Spring Ashe's inheritable weapon Bunny's Egg+ grants Atk/Spd+5 during combat and damage reduction on his foe's first attack.

While nothing extraordinary, this dagger can get the job done for offensive units.

Spring Ashe Weaknesses

Lack of Unique Skills

Spring Ashe suffers from not having any unique skills to call his own, making him unable to stand out amongst other units.

While his weapon/movement archetype as a Red Dagger flying unit is rare, his combat potential is hindered by not being able to perform unique effects compared to his peers.

Weak to Bows

As a flying unit, Spring Ashe takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
