The best IVs for Atlas are +Atk and -Res. Boosting his Atk allows Atlas to deal more damage, which is more important due to his lack of exclusive weapon.

His Res is his least important stat and is a safe bane to take.

How to Use, Explanation

Atlas receives the benefits of Stout Axe+ only if the foe can make a follow-up attack. Thus, we stack bulk and leave his Spd untouched in order to increase these odds. Stacking bulk and HP recovery gives great sustain and lets Atlas fulfill his role as an off-tank better.

Atlas is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Atlas Strengths

Stout Axe+ grants Atk/Def bonuses and damage reduction

Atlas' Stout Axe+ grants Atk/Def+5 during combat and grants 50% damage reduction against the foe's first attack if the foe can make a follow-up attack against Atlas.

This improves his survivability by boosting his bulk and reducing the foe's damage.

Trainee BST

Atlas is fortunate to receive trainee BST on top of being a 6th gen unit. This allows him to hit the 190 BST benchmark as a F2P unit!

Scoring high in Arena is now possible on a budget thanks to Atlas.

Atlas Weaknesses

Lack of unique skills

As with every unit that lacks unique skills, Atlas' usefulness is overshadowed by premium units with exclusive skills who can perform his role, but better.

Additionally, with the saturated pool of axe infantry units, especially those available via Heroic Grails, Atlas simply does not stand out among the bunch except for his increased BST.
