Snorlax - Flail Banner

Flail is a Move learned by Snorlax in Pokemon UNITE. Learn the effects of Flail, as well as its damage at each level, cooldown time, level to learn and upgrade, status effects it inflicts, and all Pokemon builds using Flail.

Has the user flail about and increases its movement speed for a short time. Increases the user's basic attack damage the lower the user's HP is and decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokemon for a short time when basic attacks hit.

How to Use Flail

Equip HP and Attack Speed Items

Pokemon UNITE - Snorlax Defeating Machamp With Flail

If you're building Snorlax around Flail, equip items that boost HP and attack speed to maximize your damage output during Flail. HP items like Buddy Barrier directly affects Flail's damage since the damage increase is based on your missing health. On the other hand, Attack speed items like Muscle Band maximizes the number of attacks you can do within Flail's duration.

Critical-Hit items like Scope Lens also maximize Flail's damage. The only downside is they rely heavily on chance.

Utilize Movement Speed and Cone Damage Effects

Pokemon UNITE - Snorlax Defeating Crustle and Cinderace Using Flail

Utilize Flail's movement speed increase and cone damage effect to take on groups of enemies, especially fragile Pokemon. Flail's cone damage is also a great tool for farming wild Pokemon.

Utilize Healing Effect

Pokemon UNITE - Snorlax Dueling Garchomp with Flail

Once Flail is upgraded, you now recover HP based on a portion of the damage you deal, including the cone damage. This is effective in a 1v1 duel but becomes more effective when attacking grouped enemies.

Flail Patch History

1.4.1.3 Bug fixes have been made for the following aspects of this move: actions
1.3.1.2 Level learned changed from 6 to 5. User Effect duration increased. Flail+: Level learned changed from 12 to 11.
1.16.2.6 Time for which movement speed increases changed from 2s to 3s. Movement speed buff increased from 70~30% to 80~40% (10% decrease every 0.5s).
1.12.1.4 Movement speed increase effect decreased from 70% (14% decrease every 0.4 sec.) to 70% (10% decrease every 0.5 sec.)
1.1.1.6 Although the Patch Notes indicated a damage increase, there was no change.
