Aptonoth Location and How to Get

Find in Pondry Hills

You can find Aptonoth and their egg nests in Pondry Hills. With a Qurupeco's Monster Call, you can lure them out and possibly make them retreat!

Make Aptonoth Retreat

To get guaranteed Aptonoth eggs, you can make them retreat by following the conditions above conditions. Afterwards, follow them to their den and gather an egg from their nest while Aptonoth is sleeping!

Optionally, you can get the Den Protector skill to further increase the chances of Aptonoth retreating. You can get this skill early with the Pink Rathian's armor, Rath Heart Armor!
