Find in Paupau Beach

You can find Great Jaggi and their egg nests in Paupau Beach. With a Qurupeco's Monster Call, you can lure them out and possibly make them retreat!

Make Great Jaggi Retreat

To get guaranteed Great Jaggi eggs, you can make them retreat by following the conditions above conditions. Afterwards, follow them to their den and gather an egg from their nest while Great Jaggi is sleeping!

Optionally, you can get the Den Protector skill to further increase the chances of Great Jaggi retreating. You can get this skill early with the Pink Rathian's armor, Rath Heart Armor!
