Forgo Bay Leon's Soul Locations and Walkthrough

This is a walkthrough for the Forgo Bay stage in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Read on to see the location for all Leon's Souls, as well as a guide for how to beat the boss Phantom Tropic Woods, and more!

Leon's Souls Per Area

Forgo Bay Area 1 Soul Locations

1: Near the Crocodile Enemy

You can find the first soul near the crocodile enemy at the beginning of the stage.

2: Freeze the Burning Logs

Head to the right side of the crocodile and freeze the burning logs to pick up the soul.

3: On Top of the Barrel

Hover towards the barrel on the left to pick up the soul.

4: Defeat the Shadowy Seal Enemy

Defeat the shadowy enemy nearby to retrieve the soul from it.

5: Freeze the Burning Logs In the Small Area

Use the Ice copy ability to put out the burning logs and pick up the soul inside the small area.

6: Near the Moving Spikes

Head north and pick up the soul on the right side while avoiding the moving spikes.

7-9: Defeat Wild Edge

Defeat Wild Edge at the end of the first area to obtain three souls.

Forgo Bay Area 2 Soul Locations

10: Hit the Target

Use the Ranger copy ability to hit the target on the right side of the area and pick up the soul that appears on the platform that appears.

11: Under the Moving Platform

Head left from the target and hover down in the middle of the moving platform to pick up the soul.

12: Inside the Brown Block

Move to the next area and destroy the brown blocks on the left side to find the soul.

13: Hit the Target on the Moving Platform

Jump on the moving platform and hit the target on the left side of the area. Pick up the soul that appears in the middle of the two moving platforms.

14: On the Right Corner of the Moving Platform

Hover towards the right corner of the moving platform to find the soul floating on top of a structure. Watch out for the whirlpool at the bottom of the structure.

15-17: Hit the Moving Target at the End of the Area

Hit the moving target west of the warp star at the end of the area. This activates the crane nearby, revealing a pile of coins and a treasure chest that contains the soul.

Forgo Bay Area 3 Soul Locations

18: On Top of the Platform at the Right Corner

Climb up the steps and find the soul floating on top of a small platform. Watch out for the boulder that rolls down directly on the area.

19: Above the Control Panel

Climb up the next set of steps and find the soul floating above the control panel.

20: Touch the Sparkling Spot

Make your way up and find the sparkling spot in the area in between the two stairs. Touch the sparkling spot to reveal the soul nearby.

21: Destroy the Small Bomb Block

Look for the small bomb block on the right corner and destroy it to reveal the soul.

22: In a Small Opening at the Right Corner

Head up the stairs and find the soul floating on a small area covered with vines.

23-25: Inside a Treasure Chest Near the Area with Two Fish

Head left to the area with the two fish and the falling boulder. Touch the sparkling spot nearby to reveal a trail of coins that lead you to the treasure chest. Open the chest to find three souls inside.

Forgo Bay Area 4 Soul Locations

26: Hit the Blue Switch in the Middle of the Area

Hit the blue switch in the middle of the area and pick up the soul on the left side.

27: Destroy the Brown Blocks at the Top Part of the Area

Swim to the north side and destroy the brown blocks to find the soul floating on top of it.

28: In Between the Two Platforms

Head to the area with the cutter enemy and pick up the soul in between the two platforms on the right side.

29-31: Underneath the Metal Platform

Swim to the next area with the x-shaped spikes and activate the two blue switches. Head to the left side and swim underneath the metal platform to pick up the three souls.

	The first blue switch can be found on the right side of the area.
	The second blue switch is on the left side of the area.

32: Defeat the Shadowy Enemy

Defeat the shadowy enemy that appears after hitting the two blue switches to obtain one soul.

33: On the Top-Left Corner Near the Plant Enemy

Head to the next room with the whirlpool in the middle of the area. Swim to the left side and pick up the soul near the plant enemy.

34: Activate the Blue Switch on the Right Corner

Swim on the right side of the room and climb up the steps to activate the blue switch. Doing so reveals one soul in the right corner of the area.

Forgo Bay Area 5 Soul Locations

35: Destroy the Bomb Block at the Leftmost Platform

Stick to the left side of the path while moving and jump on the platform with the bomb block on it. Destroy the block to reveal the soul at the end of the path near the two monkey enemies.

It is recommended to use the Ice copy ability in this area to move as you can move against the wind easier compared to other copy abilities.

36: On the Leftmost Metal Platform

Jump on the next set of metal platforms and move to the right side to avoid the two cannons. Move to the leftmost metal platform to pick up the soul.

37: Activate the First Green Fan on the Right Side

Use the Ring Mouth to blow air towards the green fan on the right side to clear the white blocks nearby that contains the soul.

How to obtain the Ring Mouth

	Move to the left side of the area until you find the staircase.
	Inhale the staircase and move back to the platform on the right where the ring is located.
	Spit out the staircase the climb up and inhale the cone at the top of the platform.

38: Activate the Second Fan on the Right Side

Defeat the two seal enemies and blow air towards the fan on the right side to clear the white blocks nearby that contains the soul.

39: Activate the Two Fans

Activate the first green fan on the left side of the area.

Activate the second green fan on the right side of the area. Run to the middle part of the path to pick up the soul inside the cage.

40-42: Activate the Fan at the End of the Stage

Use the Ring Mouth to blow air at the fan to open the unlock the gated area that contains three souls.

43: Defeat the Shadowy Enemy South of the Fan

Spit out the ring and swim south of the fan to find a shadowy enemy on a platform. Defeat it to pick up the soul.

How to Beat Phantom Tropic Woods

Recommended Ability

Ice

Ice will allow you to deal heavy damage via freezing

The Ice copy ability allows you to freeze Phantom Tropic Woods over time and deal massive damage in the process. In addition, using a guard allows you to block most of its attacks.

Attack Patterns

Phantom Tropic Woods uses three attacks: a three consecutive breath attack, coconut bombs, spikes Phantom Tropic Woods will start using area-wide attacks such as summoning a maze-like fence, an area-wide breath attack, and its own roots when its health is at 40%.

Hover to Avoid the Breath Attack

The Phantom Tropic Woods' uses a three consecutive breath attack on the first phase and an area-wide version of the attack when its health is at 40%. You can avoid both by hovering above the puffs of air.

If your copy ability has a jump attack, such as the Fire, you can use this opportunity to deal damage to the boss.

Use the Ice Copy Ability's Combo Attack to Destroy the Falling Coconuts

At the start of the boss fight, the Phantom Tropic Woods will start dropping coconut bombs from above. You can press the B button repeatedly to perform the Ice copy ability's combo attack to destroy and protect yourself from the coconuts.

If you do not have the Ice copy ability, move away from the large shadows on the ground to avoid getting hit by the coconut.

Avoid the Black Lines When It Summons the Barricades

When the Phantom Tropic Woods has 40% health, it will start summoning a maze-like barricade. You can avoid getting hit by this attack by moving away from the black lines that appear on the sand.

Watch Out for the Root that Appears on Its Face

When the boss starts to summon its roots, watch out for the puffs of smoke that appear near its face. This is an indicator that another set of roots will appear, which may damage you if you are attacking at a close range.
