Who says she can't be a Martial Monk instead of Mage?

100% yes, I’m running her in maddening and utilizing the dlc emblem Hector to supplement her defense. Set her up with a wind Axe +4 and Excalibur +1 both with a o mods she is an insane dodge tank who when hit just gets stronger she damn near soloed the map for Soren and tanked to level for Camille this was done pre chapter 9. Went from being my weakest unit to the strongest by far. Have yet to finish as I’ve been taking it slow but I can easily see her being a main stay for my team.

I was reluctant at first, but she started to get better when I needed her most. I've been using Soren with her, which although probably not the best pairing, was all I had to use magic-wise. She does great and is one of my most dependable mages next to olwen ring citrinne.

I love Anna, she's very cute and funny. I planned to use her as berserk but then I saw her growths, so now she's my magic nuke instead. Gonna give that pact ring to her 100%

She is the most powerful magic user in the game. Plus your mage options are terrible early game. Arena training plus 1-2 fights is enough to get her to 10. Once she switches mage she's a God amongst insects. Give her Byleth ring and she gets a range of 5 because of thrysus. She destroys everything she sees. Like the dragons which show up. She can hit them outside of their attacking range. And she gets you gold. S-tier character if you switch her to mage.

I recommend using her as a Griffin knight. Just get her a magic sword and she'll be fine. Mage class doesnt have any speed or def growth, so she's not gonna excell on that. Res is good, but it's not enough. With griffin knight (or pegasus) u have some mag growth, not as high but decent enough. Guaranted double attack, higher avo, higher def (to match her growths in both things) and enough Res to resist. Also, the extra mobility helps a lot. Bad point: She hasnt much build, go with swords.

Don't know if I'll show up as anon 6 or the original anon 3 You can use a second seal before you level her up further, you just need to reach the base class requirements which is tome proficiency. You can get that from Celica using emblem training in the arena. No combat required. You get 2?3? second seals after chapter 8 in the somniel item shop. That's the earliest I got some at least. I just did this on my own save file before chapter 9, so I know it's possible.

If you like having money, Anna is S tier, pair her up with Tiki to maximise luck levels and boost up her skill “make a killing” to get $500 almost every kill she makes

You need to be level 10 to use seals if I remember correctly. Which means you are stuck for 5 levels. I also don't think the first second seal is that close to Anna's join time either. This is not easy to do on Hard or Maddening.

Is Anna a good option for mage knight?

    3 Anonymousalmost 2 yearsReport

I don't know about power levels for Anna, but you can reclass her as a mage the instant you get her a second seal, which is relatively soon after you get her. Just train some bond levels with Celica for tome prof and reclass to mage. She's still "only" 9 magic or something, but significantly easier to handle than as a lvl 5 axe wielder.

How is Anna S tier? She has the same bases as Boucheron, but joins many chapters later. She is stuck with 2 magic and needs 5 levels to get out of her horrible axe class. This is not a recipe for an S-tier unit. I don't care what her growths are - anyone that requires this much babying will be "S tier" then and the comparison is pointless.

Noticed that Anna is rated C tier on her page, but rated S tier on the best unit tier list. Clarification on her rating would be appreciated.
