Watch out for Flare Star, as Trance Kuja will use it a lot. Trance Kuja will also begin countering with Flare Star once his HP reaches critical levels.
Flare Star, Flare, Holy, Reflect, and Curaga.
Trance Kuja's moves revolve around Flare, Holy, and Flare Star. Trance Kuja won't use Flare and Holy against targets with under the Reflect status, instead only casting Flare Star which has the potential to wipe your party.
Having Auto-Regen will save your life in this fight. Trance Kuja's abilities have long animations so Auto-Regen will regenerate tons of health as you wait for the animation to finish. Equipping Auto-Potion will further lengthen the time making your character's virtually unkillable.
For your attackers, having the Bird Killer ability will greatly increase their damage output. Pair this with MP Attack to quickly whittle down Trance Kuja's HP. Once Trance Kuja starts countering attacks with Flare Star, the end is near.
