Complicating this I have also found that from time to time the 'destroy' option doesn't appear in the menu where it ought to be even when you don't have a kit in your pockets. This is frustrating and probably some sort of odd occasional bug. I had to get a kit to mark a bridge and then return the kit to Tom Nook in order get the 'destroy' option back on the menu.
There is something important not covered here. You cannot destroy a bridge if you have a bridge marker kit already. If you do have one already then you have to choose to not build it so that you no longer have the kit in your pockets. This is most likely a part of their choice to limit players to one infrastructure change per day.
can you build bridges over cliffs? thats something I've been wanting to try because I have two cliffs next to each other
Not everyone has the luxury of playing the game every day for hours and hours. I think it should remain in the game. To each his/her own
at least there is 0% chance of soft-resets now lol that was cancerous in the previous games but I gotta admit that I did it too lol

This is true. They look so good when you plan it properly. We can always get to the other side using other items hahaha.
building bridges isnt about getting to the other side its about making the island look nice and developed

Is there a limit on how many bridges you can build? In New Leaf, you can have up to 3 bridges at once
