You team up with Andersen to battle team Soga & Neu and team Momochi & Andromeda.

The first battle of Beach Survival is easy to finish, as there are only low-level enemies within it. Most party setups will be able to deal with this group just fine.

Another easy-to-clear quest early on in the event. If you are above level 30 or 40, you can leave this battle on Auto Mode.
You and Andersen steadily defeat pawns and rack up points. Andersen, perhaps feeling overconfident due to your score, starts to get distracted and asks for shaved ice from a food stand nearby.
Then Neu, who is still bitter about not being able to team up with you, comes and directly challenges you.

Here, the battle is going to be a little tougher due to the presence of the Moon Slime, TC11 Skinny-B, and Mad Tux, but this quest is still at a relatively low power level, so it's not much to worry about.

Bright Mona | Shadow Rally | Aqua Max |
Forest Lizard | Summer Style Neu |
In this battle, you'll be fighting Summer Style Neu who makes a Physical attack against 2 targets when her Phys. Atk is raised. She will boost her Phys. Atk three times throughout the fight:
The panel boost to one random party member can be a double-edged sword since you might get more panels that belong to a powerful character or you might get more panels for a lower DPS support-type character. This can increase or decrease your overall damage output depending on your luck. A full Earth-type party is recommended for this fight to exploit the boss' elemental weakness. That way no matter who gets the panel boost, you'll still be dealing extra damage.
Somehow you and Andersen managed to defeat the team of Soga and Neu, but before you can relax you are attacked by Andromeda.
She seems to be more playful than usual, ignoring Momochi's instructions to not go off on her own, she says a head-on competition would be more exciting for the spectators.

Bright Mona | Land Chaco | Forest Lizard |
Flame Tobey | Summer Lovin' Andromeda |
This time you are up against Summer Lovin' Andromeda, who begins the battle by reducing all damage dealt to her for two turns. She then continuously recovers her HP afterwards for the rest of the battle. When her damage reduction buff wears off, she'll make a Special Attack on 2 targets and then increase her Phys. and Spec. Def stats.
You have to take her out as quickly as possible when you see her appear in battle, as you may end up losing because of running out of turns. Be sure to bring Earth element Folklore along to deal increased damage to her. Qin Shi Huang is a great choice for this fight to debuff Andromeda and exploit her elemental weakness at the same time.
Andersen is able to defeat Andromeda thanks to your resourcefulness. Your team is on the verge of winning the championship, there is just one last step of defeating a special training pawn, but it turns out that a real pawn has been introduced into the competition by accident instead.
Still under the impression that it's a training pawn, you and Andersen fight to take down the pawn.

King Duh |
King Duh is a Level 30 Dark element Pawn that will inflict the 'Bomb' status effect on your party at the start of the battle. Afterwards, it will then make a Spec. Atk that decreases the attack power of your Folklore. That's when the bomb will start counting down. Like Summer Style Neu, it also increases the chances of a specific Folklore's panels to appear during attack mode.
Beating King Duh on Normal Mode will be easy enough, and even if you fail, you can challenge the boss again and the damage you dealt last time will carry over into the next attempt.
Bring along a Light element Folklore like Nietzsche and pair her with other heavy hitters like Longinus and Lancelot.
You and Andersen successfully defeat the special pawn and win the Beach Survival competition. Andersen says she was confident enough to take it down because it was just a training pawn, but when she hears that the pawn was actually the real thing, she has a meltdown thinking of how dangerous that pawn really was.

King Duh |
Here, you may need multiple tries to take out King Duh because of his high HP. This may take between 2-3 tries, so stock up on Boss Passes.
Note: These characters are highly effective in this Chapter, but are not necessary to clear the story. If you can manage to get any of these characters, particularly the 3★ characters, your team will be significantly more capable.

Just like in the Mysterious Greek Box, you can trade Victory Logs earned from beating King Duh in the Victory Log Exchange. These have their own rewards like Animas, as well as the Summer Frenzy! World Memory.
Just like in the Main Quest, you can also complete missions in the Beach Survival event to win Victory Logs and Player XP. The Logs can then be exchanged for rewards.
The Beach Survival event also comes with two new Folklore: Summer Style Neu and Summer Vacation Andromeda. You can get Summer Style Neu from the Featured Gacha banner, while Summer Vacation Andromeda will be given to you once you finish the Beach Survival event's Normal Mode.
Aside from the Summer Frenzy World Memory, there are also two new World Memories featured during the event as well: Family Meeting and Blame it on the Heat! Get them through the Featured World Memory Gacha.
