Choose the best characters for PvP in ALICE Fiction to quickly rise through the ranks of the Battle Arena. This tier list is based on each character's usefulness in PvP, whether they are a DPS Attacker, a Support Buffer or Debuffer, or a Healer.

Note: This tier list does not rank all characters in the game, just ones that have been deemed viable.

PvP Tier List Criteria

	Characters that can deal a high amount of damage to multiple targets.
	Characters that offer high DPS, buffs, or defensive abilities that significantly improve your chances of winning a match in the Battle Arena.
	A tier characters can deal decent damage or offer a decent amount of utility but are more reliant on their Active Skills than SS or S tier characters to be useful.
	B Tier characters are characters that don't have high damage potential (unless in specific situations), but offer support or can synergize with other characters to increase their damage potential.
	C Tier characters are characters that don't offer as much power compared to B Tier characters, and are only really useful in niche lineups, or as budget options if you don't have new Folklore yet.

SS Tier Characters

Ushiwakamaru	•Crash skill deals high damage to 4 targets which is great for PvP when there will always be 4 targets. •Debuffs the Phys. Def of multiple enemies, making them more vulnerable to her attacks at the cost of her own Phys. Def. •Another Active Skill absorbs her panels to decrease the Phys. Atk of enemies. •Her Passive Skill boosts her Phys. Atk if there are still four enemies on the field. •Using Folklore's Day Off gives her a Phys. Def. boost that offsets her skill drawback, and gives bonus Phys. Atk. when there are 4 enemies.
Archimedes	•Crash skill deals high damage across two targets. •Has access to a barrier skill that can block damage. •Passive is a massive boost to spec. atk. with no drawback. •Archimedes does much better in PvP as she is a good counter to Musashi. • The Queen's Knights World Memory is a great option for Archimedes as it boosts her Spec. Atk. once and gives additional Spec. Atk. boosts for each Special Attack-type ally on the field.
Hercules	•Hercules' Crash Skill deals damage to three enemies in one turn, making her deadly to a full party. •Her first Active Skill increases her own Phys. Def while decreasing the Phys. Atk of the enemy party. •Grants a barrier that blocks a certain amount of damage to herself and another ally, which can help extend battles. •Her Passive Skill increases her Phys. Atk while her Phys. Def is raised. • The Beloved Hero gives her a Phys. Def. boost that makes her even more durable, and gives a Phys. Atk. boost that makes her Crash Skill stronger.

Rousseau	•Crash Skill deals high damage to one target and boosts the Spec. Atk. of 1 ally. •Can buff Spec Atk. of 2 allies for 2 turns. •Can give 2 high Spec. Atk. Allies Attack-type Slayer. •Passive boosts Spec. Atk. of up to 4 Special-type allies. • Afternoon Musings provide her with a Spec. Def. boost plus a bonus for being a Buff-type, and gives her a Spec. Atk. Boost for at least 2 turns.
Kojiro	•Crash Skill deals moderate damage while buffing the Phys. Atk. of self and an ally. •Active Skill 1 extends panel breaking phase and boosts Phys. Atk. of self and 1 ally. •Passive boosts Phys. Atk. if there are 2 or more Water allies. •5 Minutes Before gives Kojiro HP Absorb and a huge Phys. Atk buff.
Musashi	•Can deal high single-target damage that can eliminate an enemy in 1 turn. •Has skills focused on buffing her own Phys. Atk., which allows her to deal the highest damage in the party. •Undercover Investigation gives Musashi two more Phys. Atk. boosts since she's an Attack-type and grants Buff Slayer.
Lancelot	•Like Musashi, Lancelot can eliminate single targets in 1 with her high damage output. •Lancelot's Active Skills boost her Phys. Atk. and grant Buff Slayer. •Her Passive Skill boosts her Phys. Atk. if you have 3 Earth characters in your party including Lancelot. •Undercover Investigation is a good WM for Lancelot as well, since it boosts her Phys. Atk. twice and grants more Buff Slayer.
Cleopatra	•Cleopatra's Crash Skill hits 4 targets, making her a very useful Earth-type Spec. Attacker for PvP. •Her Active Skill provides Water Slayer, which is great for countering parties with Archimedes. •The Queen's Knights is a recommended World Memory for Cleopatra since it boosts her Spec. Atk. and gives additional Spec. Atk. buffs for each special-type allies on the field.
Qin Shi Huang	•His skills debuff enemy Phys. Def. allowing you to deal more damage, making him ideal against strong defense parties. •Works well with other Earth-type characters like Lancelot, and contributes to triggering Lancelot's Passive. •Using The Beloved Hero enhances Qin Shi Huang's Phys. Atk. buffs, and gives him bonus Phys. Def.
Wang	•Crash Skill hits and debuffs Spec. Def. of 3 targets. •Can decrease Spec. Def. of 4 enemies with Active Skill 1. •Can increase Spec. Atk. damage to 1 target for 2 turns. •Nearly essential in a Spec. Atk-focused team because of her Special-related buffs and debuffs. •Exploratory Report is a good WM for Wang, giving her a Spec. Atk. bonus, and Decreased Stats-slayer.
Perseus	•Can make self the target of attacks and grants a barrier that blocks a certain amount of damage. •Has skills that boost Spec. Def. making her great against any Special type enemy. •Can survive 1 or 2 turns soaking damage for the party, giving your main damage-dealers time to hit the enemy with more powerful Crash Skills. •Pandora's Box works well with Perseus, giving her Crit. Resist, while receiving less damage for at least 3 turns.
Surtr	•Crash Skill deals high damage to 3 targets. Gives Surtr Burning Slayer and Oil Slayer effect. •Active Skill 1 inflicts 2 enemies with Burn. Active Skill 2 boosts Surtr's Phys. Atk. for 2 turns every time a Fire-type ally on the field activates a skill. •Passive boosts Phys. Atk. of self when at least 1 Wood-type enemy is on the field. •Living Generously is a recommended WM for Surtr as it gives her a large Phys. Atk. buff which you can then use to hit multiple enemies.
Nietzsche	•Crash Skill deals extremely high damage for a 2-star character. •Can boost Crash Skill damage even more with Active Skill 1. •Is one of the best Spec. Atk single-damage DPSs in the game, she's among the top choices to put against Ushiwakamaru, one of the game's most powerful PvP units. •Second Opinion is a powerful World Memory that allows Nietzsche to deal bonus Spec. Atk. damage, although to get the full effect she needs to remain at or above 80% HP.
Neu	•Crash Skill deals decent damage to 2 enemies. •Can convert her own panels into Skill Panels while boosting Phys. Atk. of self and 1 ally. •Can lengthen the panel breaking phase and buff Phys. Def. of self and 1 high Phys. Atk. ally. •Passive boosts Phys. Atk. when there are 4 allies. •Neu is a good budget mutli-target Phys. Attacker until you get Ushiwakamaru or other hard hitting multi-target attack characters. •Undercover Investigation buffs Neu's Phys. Atk. and grants Buff-slayer.
Toshizo	•Her multi-target attack can greatly enhance your party's damage against enemies, though she will have to be the only Earth/Buff-type folklore in your party due to her passive.
Kanryusai	•An anti-Phys. Atk debuffer that will be very useful at blunting Physical Attacks from enemies. The only thing that cuts her effectiveness somewhat is the chance of her first Active Skill failing. This limits her usefulness in both PvE and PvP, but overall she is a decent unit to use if you have her.

A Tier Characters

Kenshin	•Her Active Skills provide your party members extra protection for 1 turn. •Kenshin can also use her Active Skills on herself, making her difficult for AI controlled defense parties to take down. •Let Destiny Take the Wheel is a recommended WM for Kenshin, providing her extra Phys. Def. which reduces the damage she takes even further.
Andersen	•Andersen has a skill that debuffs Phys. Atk. and Phys. Def., and also has another skill to debuff Spec. Atk. and Spec. Def. •Passive Skill makes her a great fit for multiple Attack parties in Battle Arena. •The best World Memory for Andersen is The Approaching Witch, which amplifies her Debuff Skills and boosts Spec. Def.
Summer Lovin' Andromeda	•Active Skill provides healing to a single party member for 3 turns. • She can also use her other Active Skill to boost Phys. Def. of up to 2 party members. •Blame it on the Heat is a good WM to equip, giving a large Phys. Def. boost and a Spec. Atk. buff.
Goethe	•She has an Active Skill that boost the C Skill of 1 high Spec. Atk. ally, allowing them to deal bonus damage. •She also has another Active Skill that boost Phys. Def. of 2 high Spec. Atk. allies which is very helpful in PvP. Passive Skill also provides extra protection for attack-type allies•. •Using Undiscovered Grimoires on Goethe gives her a Spec. Def. bonus, along with a Spec. Atk. bonus that allows her to deal more damage alongside her Attack-type allies.
Asclepius	•Ascelpius can heal 3 party members using her first Active Skill. •Her second Active Skill is a more potent single-target heal. • Her Passive Skill boost HP recovery when there are 4 enemies on the field, which is perfect in Battle Arena PvP matches since there will always be 4 enemies at the start. •Remember to Rest is a WM that provides additional HP Recov. Rate, alongside Spec. Atk. buffs.
Himiko	•Himiko's Active Skill 1 Can heal 3 allies not including herself. •She can reduce the recovery rate of an enemy by 50% with her skills, as well as heal herself and another ally. •A good healer to have, though others can heal much more often than her like Hippocrates and Nightingale. •The World Memory My Dream Life is recommended as it raises Spec. Atk as long as Himiko (or whoever has this WM equipped) is the only healer in the party.
Benkei	•Can make self the target of attacks. •Has skills that reduce damage and buff Phys. Def., and also inflict Attack Bind on 1 enemy for 2 turns. •A decent option for a defensive party, but Perseus ultimately outclasses Benkei in PvP due to Perseus' use of a barrier and utility against powerful Special Attack-type enemies. •The World Memory Friendly Detour is a good option for her since it not only boosts her Phys. Def, but also reduces damage from Attack-type enemies.
Salieri	•Her Crash Skill increases the damage enemies receive from Special Attack-type Folklore like Cleopatra. •The rest of her skills undermine the Spec. Def and Spec. Atk stats of her enemies. •She can also cast Attack Bind on enemies, which prevents them from attacking for one turn. This can be useful in preventing a counter-attack from the likes of Ushiwakamaru, Musashi, or Lancelot. But remember that the skill still has a chance of failing. •The World Memory The Magic Flute is good for her to have because it increases the success rate of her Attack Bind skill.
Amadeus	•Crash Skill deals heavy damage against a single enemy. •Can decrease the Spec. Def of enemies and has a 60% chance to inflict Skill Bind on enemies, preventing them from using Skills. •Essentially the Spec. Atk version of Qin Shi Huang, Amadeus can help you overcome a mainly Spec. Atk party with her debuffs. •The World Memory Exploratory Report is recommended for Amadeus as it buffs Spec. Atk and gives her a Decreased Stats slayer buff since she's a Debuff-type character.

B Tier Characters

Joan	•Active Skill allows her to boost Phys. Atk. of 3 allies, increasing overall damage output in PvP. •Passive Skill benefits from having other Buff-type allies in the party, giving bonus Phys. Atk. and Phys. Def. •Saint of the Graveyard gives her bonus Status Resist, and Phys. Atk. when there are Buff-type allies present.
Longinus	•Her Active Skills absorb panels to boost Phys. Atk. and Phys. Def., giving her well-rounded stats for PvP. •Her Passive Skill gives bonus C Skill damage, which synergizes with her Active Skills. •The Beloved Hero is a good WM to equip to Longinus, providing bonus Phys. Atk. and Phys. Def. stats.
Faust	•Her Active Skills focus on boosting her Spec. Atk. at the cost of reducing her HP. •Her Active and Passive also grant HP Absorb, making up for her lost HP. •All I Need is.... is a WM that boosts Faust's Spec. Atk., and gives her Buff-type Slayer, which is handy in PvP.
Summer Style Neu	•Her Active Skills make it easier to access panels of other party members, allowing you to boost Crash Skill levels easily. •Her other Active Skill lengthens the panel breaking phase, giving you more time to build up stronger Crash Skill attacks. •Family Meeting is a good WM to equip, giving her a Phys. Atk. bonus for every panel broken.
Pygmalion	•A well-rounded Buff-type character that provides Spec. Atk. and Spec. Def. buffs. using her Active and Passive Skills. •She can also create a barrier for one party member, protecting them from damage. •Afternoon Musings is a recommended WM for Pygmalion as it boosts both her Spec. Def. and Spec. Atk. stats.
Antoinette	•Crash Skill deals damage across 4 enemies and inflicts burn damage to 2 of them, making her great at wearing down PvP enemies. •Active Skill can deal burn to 4 enemies, which lasts for 3 turns. •Her second Active skill boosts the Phys. Atk. and Phys. Def. of all Fire allies, making her great with characters like Musashi and Surtr. Passive Skill gives a Phys. Def. bonus for having 2 or more Fire allies. •Tactical Confrontation gives Antoinette bonus Phys. Atk. to her, and being a Buff-type allows her to use the bonus stats.
Mathers	•Her Active Skill provides a party member with a high level skill panel, dealing stronger Crash Skill damage. •Her Passive Skill also provides bonus Phys. Atk. and Spec. Atk. for Buff-type allies, making her good to pair with other Buff-type characters. •Undiscovered Grimoires allows Mathers to gain a Spec. Atk. bonus for each panel broken, and gives her more Spec. Def.
Sharizotan	•Crash Skill deals decent damage and inflicts Bomb on 1 enemy. •Has access to Bomb Slayer ability making subsequent attacks much more powerful. •Though she may be useful as a budget single-target DPS in the campaign, there are better alternatives to her in PvP even with the bomb-related buffs. •If you will still use her, she could be outfitted with the Undercover Investigation World Memory to buff her Phys. Atk and give her a Buff-type Slayer perk.
Hippocrates	•Heals 1 ally with Crash Skill, although deals low damage to enemy targets. •Can remove defense debuffs and buff both Phys. and Spec. Def. •Can turn one of her own panels into a Skill Panel for an easy Crash Skill heal. •If you still want to use Hippocrates, don't forget to give her the Treasure in the Trash World Memory to boost her Spec. Atk and reduce the damage done to her if her health falls below 80%.
Summer Lovin' Andromeda	•Gives healing continuously to allies for three turns, making her a viable alternative to other healers like Nightingale. •Her Phys. Def buffs will also keep allies alive through battle. •If you want to bring Summer Lovin' Andromeda in PvP, give her the Remember to Rest for that HP recovery boost. You could also give her Blame it on the Heat! World Memory to enhance her Phys. Def.
Nightingale	•Her Active Skill allows her to heal party members each turn. •She can also remove enemy buffs, which makes defense parties more vulnerable to damage. •[Treasure in the Trash] is a good WM for Nightingale, providing bonus HP Recovery, along with a Spec. Atk. and damage reduction bonus.
Bismarck	• Lowers the Phys. Atk and Def. power of his enemies through the use of skills. •Makes his enemies more susceptible to attacks from Physical Attack-type Folklore. •Though he could be useful in PvP to help lower an enemy's defense stats, Bismarck is outclassed by other units like Qin Shi Huang. •If you still need to use him, don't forget to give him the Friendly Detour World Memory to raise his Phys. Def and reduce damage from attack-type enemies.
Scipio	•Has a barrier skill that can protect 3 party members from a set amount of damage. •Can lengthen the panel breaking phase, allowing you to get more damage in while reducing damage taken to your 2 lowest HP allies. •Remember to give Scipio her signature World Memory Tactical Confrontation to give her a Phys. Atk boost as well as damage reduction.
Jack the Ripper	•Mainly focuses on dealing damage to enemies afflicted by status ailments, making her a bit situational, but can synergize with characters that inflict status ailments. •In PvP, you would rather get another high-DPS character than Jack the Ripper for your team. But in cases that you want to use her, then make sure to give her the Undercover Investigation not only for the Phys. Atk boost, but also the Buff-type Slayer perk.

C Tier Characters

Viviane	•Her Active Skill can inflict Virus damage to enemies for 3 turns, wearing them down. •Can also provide Virus-slayer to party members using her Passive Skill. •Fashionista's Article gives Viviane a Phys. Atk. boost and Buff-slayer.
Hannibal	•She can inflict Virus Damage using her Crash Skill and Active Skill, allowing you to damage enemies for multiple turns. •Can debuff enemy Spec. Atk., making her useful against defense parties with many Spec. Atk. characters. •Exploratory Report is a good WM for Hannibal, giving her bonus Spec. Atk. and Decreased Stats Slayer.
Achilles	•Her skills focus on buffing her and other party members with Wood-slayer. •Very effective against defense parties with Wood characters. •As Far As I Can provides Achilles with bonus Phys. Atk., and enhances her Wood-slayer ability.
Michelangelo-B	•Provides Spec. Def. buffs to allies using his Crash and Active Skills. •Can also reduce the damage taken of 2 allies, which is handy in Battle Arena. •Friendly Detour is a good WM to have, since it provides a solid Phys. Def. boost, and reduces damage taken from Attack-types, which most parties in PvP run.
Eurystheus	•Her Skills are centered around providing herself and her allies with Water Slayer. •She also has skills that help reduce damage from Water characters, which is handy for PvP parties that have characters like Kojiro and Archimedes. •The King's Dilemma is the ideal WM for Eurystheus, since it gives her more Spec. Atk. buffs, along with enhancing her Water Slayer.
Robin Hood	•Robin Hood is a unique character that can increase the Crit. Rate of his allies using his Active Skill, along with bonus Phys. Atk. •He can also debuff enemy Crit. Res., making enemy parties more vulnerable. •Dragon on the Sea gives bonus Crit. Dmg. to Robin Hood, and giving addtional Phys. Atk. boost if you use his Active Skill.
Galen	•Galen can heal 2 party members with low HP, which is very helpful in Battle Arena. • She can also remove Status debuffs, which makes your party less vulnerable to attacks. •Treasure in the Trash is an ideal WM for Galen, providing her with bonus HP Recovery, alongside bonus Spec. Atk. and reduced damage taken.
Gilles	•Gilles provides Defense-type, Recovery-type, and Debuff-type Slayer to allies, helping you cover different kinds of matchups. •Her Passive Skill boosts Phys. Atk. and Phys. Def. if you have 3 or more Earth allies. •Tactical Confrontation is a good WM for Gilles, giving her Bonus Phys. Atk. which helps her deal more damage.
Captain Drake	•Captain Drake's skills focus on buffing her Crit. Rate and Crit. Dmg., whihc allows her to deal bonus damage. •Folklore's Day Off is a nice WM for Captain Drake, giving her Phys. Def. and Phys. Atk. bonuses.
Andromeda	•Andromeda's Active Skills help boost Phys. Def. and Spec. Def. of allies, providing them extra protection. •Passive Skill gives bonus Spec. Atk. to 4 allies, making her ideal in a Spec. Atk. party. •Sacrifice gives her Status Resist, and enhances her Spec. Def. buffs.
Wayland	•Wayland's Active Skills provide Phys. Def. buffs to party members, and can also reduce the damage they take. •Let Destiny Take the Wheel is a good WM for Wayland, giving her a Phys. Def. bonus, while reducing damage taken from defense types.
