This team makes use of multiple offensive threats while striking a balanced coverage for each team members' weakness. Since there are no dedicated leads for this team, start off by pedicting what your opponent may lead with.

Team Movesets & Best Builds

Teal Mask Ogerpon Moveset & Best Build

Nature Jolly (+Spe, -Sp. Atk)
EV Spread Atk 252 / SpD 4 / Spe 252

Held Item Life Orb
Moveset Ivy Cudgel
Knock Off
Play Rough
Swords Dance

While not as strong as its other forms, Teal Mask Ogerpon makes up for this by being able to hold any item it wishes. Thanks to its offensive coverage and the Speed boost after Terastallizing, this Pokemon can easily stack up enough buffs to sweep through your opponents team if they're not careful.

Teal Mask Ogerpon (Grass) Movesets and Best Builds

Choice Scarf Landorus Moveset & Best Build

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Landorus (Therian Forme) Image

Nature Adamant (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
EV Spread 68 HP / 196 Atk / 4 Def / 4 Sp. Def / 236 Spe
Final Stat Values 173 HP / 209 Atk / 111 Def / 101 Sp. Def / 141 Spe
Ability Intimidate
Tera Type Pokemon Flying Type Icon
Held Item Choice Scarf
Moveset U-turn
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Tera Blast

Landorus is an excellent counter to your opponent's Ogerpon. Its Intimidate ability lowers the its Attack stat by one stage and with a Choice Scarf, it can also easily outspeed Ogerpon.

A Flying-type Tera Blast can knock out most Ogerpon forms and other Pokemon weak to the move. Earthquake is a reliable STAB move if you don't want to commit your Tera to Landorus.

Landorus is also a good Pokemon to have as a lead since it can easily pivot into a different attacker with U-turn and help put you in a more favorable position.

Landorus Movesets and Best Builds

Focus Sash Chien-Pao Moveset & Best Build

Nature Jolly (+Spe, -Sp. Atk)
EV Spread Atk 252 / Sp. Def 4 / Spe 252

Ability Sword of Ruin
Tera Type Pokemon Electric Type Icon
Held Item Focus Sash
Moveset Icicle Crash
Crunch
Sucker Punch
Tera Blast

With its incredible Attack and Speed, combined with Sword of Ruin lowering all Pokemon's Defense stats, Chien-Pao is still a formidable Physical Attacker in the current metagame. Focus Sash allows it to survive any power hit and threaten a knock out in return.

An Electric Tera is used to make Chien-Pao's only weakness Ground, which it normally threatens, as well as making Tera Blast hit counters like Urshifu Rapid-Strike for super effective damage.

Chien-Pao Movesets and Best Builds

Booster Energy Flutter Mane Moveset & Best Build

Nature Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EV Spread HP 4 / Sp. Atk 252 / Spe 252

Held Item Booster Energy
Moveset Psyshock
Moonblast
Shadow Ball
Mystical Fire

Flutter Mane boasts one of the highest Special Attack and Speed stats in the current metagame. With Booster Energy making its Speed stat near unbeatable, Flutter Mane can threaten quick knock outs with its wide range of attacks. It's also an amazing switch-in for opponents that can threaten your Chien-Pao and hit back with a powerful Moonblast.

Flutter Mane Movesets and Best Builds

Punching Glove Urshifu Rapid-Strike Moveset & Best Build

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Urshifu Rapid-Strike Style Image

Nature Adamant (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
EV Spread HP 108 / Atk 132 / Def 172 / Sp. Def 52 / Spe 44
Final Stat Values HP 189 / Atk 183 / Def 142 / Sp. Def 87 / Spe 123
Ability Unseen Fist
Tera Type Pokemon Poison Type Icon
Held Item Punching Glove
Moveset Surging Strikes
Aqua Jet
Close Combat
U-turn

Due to the prevalence of Rocky Helmet in the current metagame, Urshifu ideally wants Punching Glove as its item to prevent taking chip damage from items and abilities that deal damage when using Surging Strikes.

Its Tera type is also Poison to help it resist Fairy and Grass attacks that would normally counter it and making it a decent switch in to Poison types that can threaten your Ogerpon and Flutter Mane.

Urshifu Rapid-Strike Style Movesets and Best Builds

Rocky Helmet Dragonite Moveset & Best Build

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Dragonite Image

Nature Adamant (+Atk, -Sp. Atk)
EV Spread HP 244 / Atk 252 / Def 4 / Sp. Def 4 / Spe 4
Final Stat Values HP 197 / Atk 204 / Def 116 / Sp. Def 121 / Spe 101
Ability Multiscale
Tera Type Pokemon Normal Type Icon
Held Item Rocky Helmet
Moveset Roost
Encore
Extreme Speed
Earthquake

Dragonite can pressure knock outs with Earthquake and Tera Normal Extreme Speed, especially after chip damage from Rocky Helmet. It can also use moves like Encore against hazard setters and setup Pokemon to severely debilitate them and force a switch. Roost is then used to restore Dragonite's health and reactivate Multiscale.

Bring Pokemon that Check Your Opponent's Team

Depending on you opponent's team, select Pokemon that have a wide range of offensive coverage in order to threaten all the possible combinations of Pokemon they could bring.

Do not risk a bad matchup for the Pokemon that is currently on the field. When playing a hyper-offense team, the best way to take opponents on is to pivot into a Pokemon with a favorable match-up against your opponent and overwhelm them by picking off their team one by one with your team and try to preserve the Pokemon that gives you the clearest path to victory.

Speed is Key

This team focuses on outspeeding your opponents with glass cannons that can pick off your opponent's offensive members leaving them with no option other than their supportive and defensive Pokemon.

Flutter Mane and Chien-Pao are great choices for this as their movepools and strengths can easily take down aggressive Dragon-types to let Ogerpon take care of the rest thanks to it getting a boost to its Speed thanks to Embody Aspect.

Debilitate Offensive Teams with Bulk

Most people would expect you to lead with faster and more offensive sets when looking at Team Sheets. Surprise them by taking advantage of Pokemon that can tank hits like Dragonite and Urshifu or debilitate their attackers with Landorus so your attackers can then switch in safely.

For example, against Hearthflame Mask Ogerpons, Poison Tera Urshifu would resist its Grass move and you can threaten a knock out with Surging Strikes in return.
