i got the gloom sword by defeating the gloom hands, then phantom ganon. a couple bomb flowers in the mass of them lowered them almost entirely, then bc my aim isn't great i used eyes on my arrows to finish off the gloom hands. (also, i think the gloom hands disappear and regenerate if u don't kill them? not sure tho) phantom ganon was hella easy. shooting him in the face stuns him during his charge thing so just keep ur distance cus his melee's strong

You can obtain the Gloom Sword by defeating the Gloom Hands then defeating Phantom Ganon shortly after.

I got the Gloom Sword by defeating the Phantom Ganon whilst en route to Zora’s Domain, so potentially defeating other ones can yield it, too . . .

I mentioned this in the post on the demon king’s bow but the gloom sword drops after you beat phantom Ganon inside the great deku tree. What I didn’t mention before is that you have to go to the depths just beside the path leading to the lost woods to even make it to the deku tree. Just be careful since some of those gloom hand things are in the depths on the way there. Look for the glow stalk to activate under the woods. Just past that will be a place to ascend into the woods.
