How to Delete Your Save File

Tamagotchi Plaza allows you to delete your game progress so you can restart a new game. Find out how to delete your save and the steps here!

How to Delete Game Save

Go to the Main Menu's Profiles

Load Save Feature
Upon booting the game, head to the profiles and select the profile you wish to delete progress on. You will go to the profile screen, after which, hit the Delete button.

Do note that the game has several measures to avoid accidental deletion so pressing this option this will not immediately delete your save.

Confirm Deletion Option

Delete Save Main
You will arrive at the first deletion question, if you wish to continue deleting the save, hit Delete, otherwise hit Back to return to the Profile Screen.

Type in Delete on Prompt

Delete Save Precaution
You will then be asked to type the words Delete on the prompt screen. This is the last deletion question the game provides before you permanently erase a save file.

If you are really sure, type in the words as indicated with the D being upper-case. The file is permanently deleted afterwards and the save cannot be accessed anymore.

You can Delete your save should you wish to re-experience Tamagotchi Plaza from the ground-up! Should you wish to replay the game for a better, more tuned experience, you can redo your progress all over again and delete your old save.

Multiple People Playing the Game

Since Tamagotchi Plaza only offers three save profiles, there might be a need to delete older saves to make way for new players if the game is shared.

However, you should always ask first regarding other people's save files if you wish to delete a profile to avoid other people losing their saves!

Do note that you should only delete your own saves or request permission from the owner of the save file first if you want to delete another save and the game is shared!

Uni Will Need to be Linked Again

Your Uni rewards will be lost on the save you deleted should you proceed with Save Deletion, however, as long as your Tamagotchi Uni is reconnected to the game, you can re-do the process of getting the Tamagotchi Uni rewards and back!

Deleted Saves Will Not be Recovered

The game has no way to recover deleted saves, so always be cautious when deleting any profile on the game. Be mindful of other's save profiles and always ask first whether they agree on having their save file deleted.
