Check if Game Supports Co-op
Make sure the Shop you are playing supports the co-op feature. You will be greeted with a screen that tells you how many players will be allowed depending on the minigame!
Give One Joycon to Another Player
You can then give one of your Joy-Cons to another player. Each Joy-con acts as a separate controller which lets you and your friend play certain minigames together, resembling old-school 2-player local co-op setups! You and your friend must then press buttons to allow the Joy-Cons to pair and activate. The minigame will then start shortly.
Share the Screen With Your Friend
Once the minigame begins, you will notice that you and your friend will play the same minigame together. Share the screen with your friend, use a monitor or TV and dock your Switch to get the best experience and have fun!

Two-Player Dentist
For the Two-Player Dentist mode, you and your friend will be helping each other finish the different procedures for each Tamagotchi coming to the shop! You will be helping each other complete the task, making the game easier and faster!
Rap Battle
For the Two-Player Rap Battle mode, you and your friend will compete in the rhythm minigame section of each rap battle. Make sure to hit the right notes and win the rap game!
Is Tamagotchi Plaza Multiplayer?
Offline 2-Player Co-op
Tamagotchi Plaza supports limited offline 2-player multiplayer with the Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 in some of the shops and their minigames! It is also capable of connecting through the Tamagotchi Uni toys online for unlockable rewards!
No Online Multiplayer
The game does not support any online multiplayer features nor does it keep track of and scores in-game but this also means the game can be played offline at your own leisure!
