Clearly not a poll answered by many speedrunners. Mallow is actually the GOAT in this game thanks to his chain buffs, Snowy, and Shocker. Geno and Mario are still good, but only made better by Mallow's passive/team ability. Peach is great casually, but is almost useless at dispatching enemies quickly. Bowser is useful for a low-level party when he initially joins the team (at Level 9 or 10, I believe), but quickly uses utility because he benefits the least from Mallow's party buff.
No surprise Geno/Peach are the top ones. This is one of the rare, few games you can play with Bowser and Peach at the same time, so I use those 2 a lot, plus Bowser's very funny in this one
