Thats just not true
Its just straight up not the best brella, in fact its the worst weapon in the game. Its having an identity crisis due to it having aspects of being a slayer, skirmisher and support, and having a sub weapon that tends to work best on anchors. This alone isn't horrible but the problem is that it doesn't work well either in any role or as a hybrid. It has too low damage to be a good slayer. Its too easy to shred to effectively skirmish, and its special just doesn't work for a support.
Aerospray is arguably the worst weapon in the game having little range, and being a support weapon with a special that is in no way supportive. The only weapon I would consider worse is undercover brella. You're right that its easy to play but that doesn't make a weapon good. Same for Blob albeit Blob is a better main weapon with a far better kit. It isn't horrible by any means and it is a lot better than Aerospray but it has a really slow shot speed and is pretty bad at walling out areas.
Slightly less range can be an issue sometimes however thats why you poke w/ bombs to force the opponent into situations you have the advantage in + plan in advance. Such a good weapon to be the beginner weapon lol
That is quite a laughable remark.
Don't understand why Aerospray, and bloblobber are so low down since they aren't difficult to use in the slightest but are still very good weapons. Just salty they had to put my child the luna blaster so low down in C rank :|

Can’t remember my main in splatoon 1. Splatoon 2 I used splattershot pro vanilla storm and booyah, sloshing machine, and vanilla .52, and vanilla jr (truthfully I mained splat bombs with jr 😂) Splatoon 3 so far I’m jr and bloblobber (both 4 star). Reef-Lux is SUPER for turf and charges special really quickly. Sloshing machine I really don’t have the reaction skills to squidroll in a match or that zip caster. As a Jet Squelcher and OctoBrush player, I’m happy they made the Jet have a less toxic kit so I could play it again like I did in 1. In 2 I used the 52
Splattershot jr. Advantages:: very good mobility in both squid and human form, amazing painting capabilities, and slightly bigger ink tank, has a cheap special. Disadvantages: inaccurate, has slightly less range than most shooters, and has terrible jump rng.(normally mobile enough grounded.) Kit: has splat bomb and big bublber .big bubbler is good for protecting important spots on the map. And splat bomb is good for poking damage
Keep in mind that there aren’t any actually *bad* weapons, you just need to be good at them.
for real, personally i think the jet squelcher is amazing, sure its not the best turf inker but its good damage, good range, decent sub and good special
How many people contributed to this tier list? The consistently high ranking of the same weapons across all modes makes me think it was just drawn up by someone who is comfortable with those weapons, and more of an opinion piece
The base wiper should def be ranked higher especially for tower control being able to guard the tower with instant kills is one of the main things going for it. If it had a better kit (it's already pretty solid) it'd make an amazing push class also it demolishes back liners but I admit is beaten by shooters but still has more range than octo brush
Was a Dynamo player in Splat 1 and didn't play Splat 2. I expected to be really into Dynamo again but I have had extraordinary results with Rapid Blaster, my new main.
Splatana Wiper is my favourite rn
