Cat Entity Released
In addition to the release of the Jungle Biome, a new Cat Entity has been released on March 7, 2026. Additional content such as Jungle Fight Pits and new Jungle structures are also included in the update.
Jungle Biome Update
The new Jungle Biome was released on March 1, 2026. The new biome provides additional content, locations, and entities for you to explore!
All Active and Upcoming Events
New Classes Added
| Class | Description |
|---|---|
| Gunslinger | Starts with a revolver that upgrades with kills. |
| Grenadier | Starts with grenades and dynamite. Chance for explosives to spawn from Cultists and Chests. |
| Nightcrawler | Starts with the Shadow Dagger and obtains buffs when night falls. |
| Feaster | Increase Max Health when eating unique food and receive stat bonuses for eating while your hunger bar is full. |
The list of classes available for purchase has been expanded, allowing players to gain unique advantages at the start of their runs. Look through the class list in game and see which class fits your playstyle!
Corrupted Tools and Hard Mode Rebalancing
The corruption system was readjusted to balance out the overall experience of the gamemode. In addition, chests containing Corrupted Gear can now be found in areas with high corruption levels which reward players with gear that can turn the tides in a hard mode run!

The Forest is Angry: Hard Mode Explained
Hard Mode was added to 99 Nights in the Forest for veterans of the game to experience a new challenge. By entering the Research Outpost Basement, players can activate the lever labelled with their usernames to trigger hard mode on Day 3.
Players must activate these levers before Day 3 begins to activate Hard Mode.
Dino Kid Location
The Dino Kid is one of the Missing Children, who need to be found as one of the main objectives in 99 Nights in the Forest. There are a total of four missing children who need to be found in order to complete the game.
The Dino Kid can be found near a cave guarded by five wolves with red collars on them.
