New Pikachu designs were revealed in the Pokemon Presents 2026 preview of Pokemon Wind and Waves. The official website revealed that their names are Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu.

Possible Version Exclusives

Each of their names allude to one version of the Generation 10 games. Because of this, Mr. Windychu may be exclusive to Pokemon Winds, while Ms. Wavychu is possibly exlusive to Pokemon Waves.

Possible Special NPCs

New Pikachu Forms in Gen 10
In the Pokemon Presents announcement, these Pikachu are first seen greeting a person who is presumably the player character. They may function as special NPCs that guide the player throughout their journey.

May Be Similar to Cosplay Pikachu

Another possibility is that these Pikachu forms are similar to the Cosplay Pikachu from Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
