Generation 10 Water Starter
Gecqua is one of the three new starters revealed for Pokemon Winds and Waves and will be the Water-type starter of Generation 10. Classified as the Water Gecko Pokémon, Gecqua looks quite similar with Gen 8's Sobble, the Water Lizard Pokemon.
This Pokémon launches springy balls of water from its tail. Gecqua is very intelligent and maneuvers shrewdly while putting on airs.

Ability description is from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Gecqua's Ability is Torrent, which is similar to other Water-type Starter Pokemon. This Ability boosts Gecqua's physical and special Water-type moves by 50% if its health is low, which can be useful when it is in critical health in battles.
Gecqua may have some trouble against certain Pokemon that will appear at the beginning of the game as it is weak against Grass-type moves. It is strong, however, against Rock-type Pokemon!
