How to Use Electroweb

Set Up Thunder

Pokemon UNITE - Pikachu Using Electroweb and Thunder

If you got Thunder instead of Electro Ball, you can use Electroweb first to immobilize your target, then immediately follow up with Thunder, maximizing Thunder's damage.

Set Up for Allies

Alternatively, you can use Electroweb to set up kills for your allies, enabling them to easily land their moves.

Escape from Enemies

Pokemon UNITE - Pikachu Using Electroweb to Escape Snorlax

You can use Electroweb to keep an enemy in place, giving you enough time to escape. You can ensure your escape if you have Eject Button equipped, creating a lot of distance between you and the enemy and discouraging them from pursuing further.

Prevent Dash Moves

Pokemon UNITE - Pikachu

Use Electrobweb on a Pokemon with a lot of dash moves, preventing them from using those moves.

As seen above, Zeraora's Agility and Slash were disabled by Pikachu's Electroweb. Although Slash is not labeled as a dash move, the way the move works is treated the same as a dash move.

Sneak Goals

Pokemon UNITE - Pikachu Using Electroweb on Greedent to Score a Goal

A neat trick in the early-game is using Electroweb to keep a target in place while you score a goal. If you have Eject Button equipped, you can use it to quickly get to the goal. It is most effective against melee Pokemon since they need to close the gap entirely first to interrupt your scoring with standard attacks.
